‘Hot Wiggle’ John Pearce and his wife Jessie Adamo welcomed their first child into the world earlier this week – and a bizarre theory has emerged about the bub’s name.
The children’s entertainer and his beautiful wife shared a heartfelt post to Instagram on Wednesday revealing they had named their beautiful boy Henry.
John’s fans went wild over the news, and quickly took to the comment section to ask if they had named him after the iconic Wiggles character Henry the Octopus.
‘Please tell me he’s named after the octopus!’ one person quipped.
‘Henry the Octopus feeling really happy right now,’ a second person added and a third chipped in: ‘I wonder if a certain octopus was a namesake.’
The Wiggles character is a cheeky purple octopus who has been part of the cast since 1992, and loves to sing and dance up a storm alongside the human performers.

However, John and Jessie remained tight-lipped about whether the ocean-based Wiggles character was the inspiration for their child’s name.
The ‘hot’ Purple Wiggle took to Instagram on Wednesday to confirm the jovial news that Jessie had given birth to their baby boy on Monday.
He posted a gallery of adorable photographs of their newborn son, showing himself and Jessie cuddled up to the little one in a hospital.
The new parents beamed with pride as they cradled their baby boy in their arms as he sweetly slept swaddled in a blue blanket.
In an accompanying caption, the children’s TV star confirmed their son’s adorable name, revealing they have called him Henry Nicholas.
He penned: ‘Henry Nicholas Adamo Pearce 16.12.24. Welcome to the world our beautiful angel. We have never felt a love like this.’
The new parents were quickly inundated with sweet congratulatory messages from their Wiggles family, as well as their other famous friends.
Simon Pryce penned: ‘Congratulations John and Jess. So happy for you both and can’t wait to meet Henry. Lots of love.’

It is not the first new baby in The Wiggles family this year, as John’s co-star Caterina Mete welcomed her twin daughters Dolly and Gigi in July after undergoing IVF with a sperm donor.
John and Jessie announced they were expecting their first child back in June and have been keeping fans up to date with their pregnancy journey since.
Their baby announcement featured a touching video on Instagram of the emotional moment they discovered Jessie was pregnant.
In the adorable post, they also revealed they were due to welcome a baby boy as Jessie gave an insight into their gender reveal.
‘It has been a long journey but our beautiful angel has finally been sent to us,’ they captioned the post.
‘We are so full of joy and can’t wait to meet you – baby Adamo Pearce due Dec 2024.’
