Binky Felstead revealed that her mother Jane has been hospitalised on Tuesday, amid her battle against multiple sclerosis (MS).
The former Made In Chelsea star, 33, took to her Instagram Stories to reveal her mum, 71, was a ‘little poorly’ in hospital.
She shared a photo of two bouquets of flowers as she paid Jane a visit, writing: ”Seeing @mummyfelstead who’s a little poorly in hospital! Hopefully these will cheer her up!’
Binky later took to her grid to share a sweet selfie of herself with her mum beaming from her hospital bed.
Jane looked in high spirits despite being on an IV drip, as she clutched her flowers to her chest and hilariously wore a cardboard kidney bowl on her head as a hat.

Captioning the touching snap, Binky revealed that she had also attempted to smuggle champagne into the ward for Jane, but hadn’t been successful.
She wrote: ‘… Well, mission sneaking champers to Mummy didn’t work today … always tomorrow hey @mummyfelstead Love you’.
Jane was diagnosed with MS in 2017 after years of believing she had fibromyalgia following a misdiagnosis from her doctors.
MS has left her with chronic aching joints and fatigue, and symptoms can also include sight disturbances (caused by inflammation of the optic nerve), slowed thinking and bladder problems.
Earlier this month, Jane took to her Instagram to open up on her diagnosis, explaining she had suffered symptoms since she was 17, and that no one had believed her at the time.
She gave her followers an update on her health, saying while she can’t walk or use her right hand ‘the future is looking brighter.’
Jane penned: ‘It’s such a long time since I’ve been on here chatting to you all, I’m almost nervous doing it now. There are so many reasons, but the main one if I’m honest is I haven’t been well ….but my problems came on so slowly they were almost imperceptible.
‘Shouldn’t really call them problems. I massively against making a deal about anything to do with my health. I’ve had a long and happy life, but it’s only now that I’ve reached the stage in it that I’ve realised the heath issues along the way.

She gave her followers a health update, saying while she can’t walk or use her right hand ‘the future is looking brighter’ and gushed about her cooking series with Binky, Felstead Feasts
‘I guess if something comes upon you very quickly and you’re in a place where you can’t tell people and they notice – you can possibly do something about it. That wasn’t the case of me.
‘My first flare was when I was 17, and nobody believed me when I said , I felt awful, immediately followed by a scary rush. My father had parotitis at the same time as this happened – so he naturally took precedent being so much older.’
She continued: ‘I actually hate writing about it, but in the spirit of honesty, going forward and part of my resolution – which I won’t keep anyway – I just thought I’d explain a bit. ..
‘After a lot of recent treatment for various things, the future is looking brighter. I still can’t walk. My right hand has given up completely, so I can no longer write – even using this phone is difficult – although I still got voice record.’
Jane shared a throwback photo of herself enjoying a glass on wine, and explained: ‘One of the recent joys I’ve discovered is finding these old photographs. The one of me here was 10 years ago and I’ve been having a ball going through them and finding fantastic ones of the kids- especially Binks and bribing them with them!
She also gushed about her cooking series with Binky, called Felstead Feasts, where she teaches Binky how to make a number of delicious recipes, like Toad In The Hole and double fish pie, while sharing glasses of fizz and lots of laughs.
Binky came up with the series last year after Jane’s MS stopped her being able to use her hands to cook, deciding to be her hands for her and share her homemade recipes.
Jane wrote: ‘Cooking with Binky has been one of the greatest delights of my life. Her suggestion came at a time when I thought it was all over – that I should be put out to pasture – which was all frankly bit of a relief!

‘So here I am now. Banging on . However – the worm has turned and I’d love to rejoin you all – cos I’ve really missed you … and the fun of this crazy life’.
In 2018, Jane appeared on Good Morning Britain, where she revealed she doesn’t plan on living past the age of 85, as she doesn’t want to lose her ‘dignity and independence’ in old age.
The mother-of-three explained her MS battle has made her dread becoming infirm and reliant on her children when she is no longer able to do basic things for herself.
Jane has chosen the age of 85 because her children and grandchildren would be grown up and independent by then.
She said: ‘If I get to 85, if I’m upright and able and valuable in some way, I’ve done my grandchildren, they’ll all be in their 20s and my kids will be in their 50s and late forties, and I’m kind of thinking that’s quite a nice time to bow out.
‘The next stage, and I’ve witnessed it, is for you to lose your dignity and your independence and for me that would be the worst thing in the world.’
She continued: ‘I would rather be gone than for any of the children I adore to have to take me to the bathroom.’
Jane also explained that her faith meant she was looking forward to an afterlife, saying: ‘I’m really excited about the next stage, a whole different subject this I know you don’t want me to go into it now.
‘I have massive belief and I think the next stage is so exciting. I’ve had a ball and I’m going out on a high.’
