The MIC actor and husband Gareth announced the birth of their twins via surrogate on their Instagram accounts earlier in June.
However Ollie added that it has been a ‘scary time’ after the birth as the twins were in a neonatal intensive care unit for a ‘long time’.
Speaking to HELLO! magazine, Ollie said: ‘The babies are here – this is what we’ve been waiting for. It’s this wonderful moment when we know that we’re the fathers we always wanted to be.
‘The journey makes the end result all the more worthwhile and now they’re here, it’s the best gift.’
In a YouTube video shared on Sunday, Ollie said of the struggles they had gone through after the birth: ‘The babies were born six weeks ago. It has been a scary time, they have been in neonatal intensive care for quite a long time.’
Gareth added: ‘It was something we didn’t want to share until we had them safe, back home with us and all part of the family. It is down to the amazing team in the neonatal units we’ve been in that means we’ve got the kids home now and the real daddying is about to begin.’
On Instagram, Ollie added: ‘We are so excited to announce that our beautiful twins are finally here and they are more precious than we could have ever imagined.
‘We’ve captured our journey to this point on our Youtube Channel; Daddy Diaries, for a first glimpse and the excitement leading up to them coming home with us – most importantly, their incredible and unique names that are just perfectly fitting for them both.
‘We have partnered with @johnsonsbabyuk to sponsor the first episode. Having supported families for over 125 years JOHNSON’S®️ Baby have experienced many generations and styles of parenting.

‘You are just wonderful and I can’t wait to watch you grow up and go on a million adventures with you. Congratulations @ollielockeworld and @garethplocke Xx.’
The couple’s surrogate Rebecca Ward gave birth via a planned cesarean at 36 weeks pregnant.
According to the NHS twins usually arrive around 37 weeks, with doctors and midwives usually recommending a planned delivery from 36 weeks.
On July 1 Ollie took to Instagram to reveal their surrogate Rebecca was 30 weeks pregnant, captioning bump pics of Rebecca: ’30 weeks!! We love you @bex7ward you are forever our biggest superstar and we can’t wait to meet you babies!’
Before adding: ‘Your daddies already love you more than you could ever know!! Xxxx’.
Ollie revealed that he and Gareth were expecting twins in February in a post that read: ‘We are beyond delighted to finally be able to share the news that we are expecting twin baby Locke-Locke’s into the world this summer!
‘You have all been so wonderful throughout the last 3 years of us trying to have a family and we promise to share every step of this adventure with you all.

Children’s author Gareth said: ‘As we get towards the finish line, it’s become very much more real’.

It happened just days after Ollie and Gareth had announced that their surrogate had fallen pregnant after their third round of IVF. The couple previously suffered a miscarriage at six weeks pregnant in 2021 during their first round of fertility treatment.
Ollie admitted their losses had left him feeling ‘demasculated’ that they have been unable to conceive so far.
Last month Ollie revealed he had quit his hit E4 show Made In Chelsea after 12 years to star in a new YouTube series with Gareth about their journey to parenthood.
Our Daddy Diaries documents their journey to fatherhood with weekly episodes.
Ollie has appeared on Made In Chelsea on and off since the first series in 2011. Gareth meanwhile joined in 2018, during series 16.
Gareth insists the pair have ‘outgrown’ Made in Chelsea, which documented their 2020 wedding, as they move into the next phase of their lives, and they wanted more ‘control’ over their output.
He told The Sun: ‘Made in Chelsea is about young people making up and breaking up. We’re very much the dads of it all.
‘It came the time for something new and for us to have something we have control over. We’re part of the production of our new show and we’ll get to share absolutely everything with our fans.
‘With the kids coming along it’s a completely different path we’re taking. We’ve outgrown Chelsea in that respect.’
Ollie, 36, added: ‘Our new show is an unadulterated, no holds barred access into our lives. It’s going to be the real us. You’ll see a lot more of our personalities than you have in Chelsea – a lot more us, a lot more real.
‘It’s something completely new and completely different. It’s very high-end, unlike any other reality show.’

She also opened up on her parenting struggles as she revealed Wilder was up ‘every hour of the night’ in a candid post.
Binky also said she had been ‘over compensating’ to make sure Wolfie and India are having the same amount of attention as normal, but it has now left her exhausted.
She wrote: ‘Week 3 is the hardest someone said to me today on my walk… not that I can remember the other two week 3s.
‘I’m exhausted, feeling like I’m getting sick and still bleeding. Wilder was up every hour or so last night and today refusing to be put down for long.
