However sister Bindi, 25, was notably absent when her little brother was dropped off at Brisbane Airport by her husband Chandler Powell, 27.
According to New Idea, the Irwin trio opted for an emotional goodbye at home alongside Bindi’s two-year-old daughter, Grace Warrior, while a source told the publication: ‘Bindi promised Robert they will FaceTime him every day’.
The source also addressed reports of jealousy between the siblings: ‘A lot of people have suggested that Bindi is feeling a bit left out… nothing could be further from the truth.
‘She’s mighty proud of her little brother’.

The show’s filming will reportedly be the longest time the Irwin siblings have spent apart.
Terri, 59, made the journey with Robert, leaving behind Bindi and Chandler to hold down the fort at Australia Zoo.
According to reports, the matriarch will make cameo appearances on the program.

The source told New Idea that there is still a chance Bindi and her family will jet to South Africa for an ’emotional reunion between the Irwin siblings.’
It comes after Robert recently revealed why he accepted the offer to host the new season of I’m A Celebrity.
The zookeeper-turned-reality TV host told Yahoo Lifestyle, hosting the show is important in continuing the legacy of his father Steve, who tragically passed away when Robert was just three years old.

‘I love that I have a real purpose and a legacy that I get to continue from my family, and my dad particularly, and I get to create my own – of wildlife conservation, of fun, of passion and positivity,’ he said.
‘And no show does it better than I’m A Celebrity when it comes to just fun, family, positive, let’s give it a go. Plus, every contestant’s working for a charity.’
He said he is a ‘huge fan of the show’ and it is a ‘privilege and a real honour’ to co-host the series alongside Julia Morris.
