Bill Murray has finally discussed viral rumors he was dating Milkshake icon Kelis in a candid new interview.
The Hollywood legend, 74, who clashed with Watergate journalist Bob Woodward over the weekend, was linked with the singer, 45, in 2023, with the unlikely romance driving fans wild.
Now Murray has branded Kelis ‘spectacular’ in a gushing new interview on SiriusXM’s Sway in the Morning.
He said: ‘I met this girl named Kelis. I got great press that I was dating her. That really raised my cred a lot.’
The Ghostbusters star said Kelis first caught his eye when he saw her in the 1999 music video for Got Your Money,
He said: “I’m going: ‘Who is the girl with the red hair?’ And it was Kelis, so I decided to meet her sometime. She turns out to be spectacular.’

‘And actually I spoke with her recently, she bought land in Africa, in Kenya .’
When asked if the pair had ever been a couple, a wistful Murray responded: ‘No.’

The romance reportedly started after the death of the Midnight Snacks’ singer’s second husband, Mike Mora — who tragically passed away from stomach cancer in March 2022.
The Caddyshack star was allegedly spotted joining Kelis on her recent summer tour, where the May/December romance began.

Staying vague in her response, the Bossy singer replied, ‘Lol no babe, I wouldn’t bother at all.’
Their split was revealed two months later with an insider saying, ‘They hope to remain friends but also plan to get on with their lives.’
A source said it was the singer that ultimately decided to pull the plug.
However, the breakup was amicable, per the insider, who said: ‘Kelis and Bill were — and still are — very fond of each other but things just ran their course.
‘They both have busy schedules and after a whirlwind romance decided to go their separate ways.’
