Holly Young has broken her silence on her steamy relationship with Colin Ridley in the Big Brother house.

The TV star told Nova’s The Chrissie Swan Show the reality TV stars kept their relationship viewer-friendly, despite temptation. 

‘Is it awkward? Like hooking up when you’re in a bedroom full of people?’ asked host Jack Charles. 

‘You know what the amazing thing about that is? The tension that you can build,’ replied Holly, 31.  

‘So yeah, we haven’t crossed that line – not even close,’ she added.

‘There was nothing past the kiss. It’s within Big Brother’s house – we’re not going to disrespect ourselves or him like that.’

On a sadder note, Holly went on to reveal that the reason she spent so much time in the diary room. 

‘I don’t like to cry publicly, because that’s just who I am as a person. I don’t like to cry on demand. I don’t like to cry, you know, when it benefits me or when it doesn’t. 

‘I go into the diary room to have my time away from all of the b****iness,’ she confessed.  

The controversial Big Brother contestant was booted out of the house during Sunday’s elimination.

There were plenty of tears inside the house as the model hugged and kissed her housemates after she was evicted in a public vote.

During her five weeks on the show, the reality star began a romance with 21-year-old housemate Colin, which she acknowledged in her exit interview.

‘It really is an unforgettable experience,’ she told host Mel Tracina.

Admitting she was ‘shaking’ with emotion, Holly continued: ‘It was a lot harder than I anticipated.

‘So I’m wishing him [Colin] all the very best.’

Elsewhere in the chat, Holly described her Big Brother experience as ‘one hell of a ride’.

‘I honestly didn’t think I was going to make it to the finals, so I’m proud I made it this far,’ she gushed.

As a gesture of solidarity, Holly named Colin as the final Head Housemate, meaning he’s safe from the next round of nominations.

Meanwhile, Bruce, Conor and Vinnie remain in the house after facing eviction.

Abiola, who was not up for eviction, sent herself home after winning $15,000 in a money challenge.
