Big Brother winner Jordan Sangha and his boyfriend Henry Southan have addressed the future of the ITV show.
The reality TV programme has been cancelled twice in its history, first on Channel 4 and then on Channel 5.
But Jordan and Henry have revealed to The Sun that they are hopeful that it will survive this time, with the help of social media.
‘I think with the digital age, the way that the show is being on social media, it becomes quite a cultural moment of the year whenever Big Brother starts again – and I think that is actually quite important,’ Henry said.
Jordan added: ‘Especially nowadays on TikTok, some of the likes the videos get. It’s outlandish because people from overseas are seeing those videos on TikTok and are then resonating with UK Big Brother.’
It comes after it was announced last month that the Big Brother house would relocate from its current home in West London to a new venue for its upcoming series.

A source told The Sun: ‘ITV has made the decision to leave Garden Studios, which has been its home in a sound stage since its return.
‘It’s been a bit of a shock to crew working on the show, given they only moved in last year and it’s a five minute walk from Harlesden Tube station which is super accessible for staff and fans coming down to the live shows.
‘There have been previous disturbances at the studio during filming, such as revellers sailing down the adjacent canal and members of the public flying drones over the garden.’
But Jordan also said the move felt like ‘closure’, as he added: ‘I think in some ways it might be some closure that we need. It was so weird going back.’
Jordan and Henry left viewers gripped when their close friendship blossomed into romance last year, and just a week after their BB exit, they made things official.
The duo sent fans into a frenzy back in November with how they debuted their podcast.
Taking to Instagram to share a surprise new clip, Jordan and Henry sent fans wild by hinting that they had got engaged, a little over a year to the day since they departed the BB house.
However, all was not as it seems, as the tongue-in-cheek post was actually announcing their Club Sandwich podcast.

In the weekly series, fans join Henry and Jordan’s world every week as they delve deeper into their daily life and hilarious differences, through the lens of their shared obsession.
The clip showed a loved-up Henry and Jordan enjoying a romantic stroll together, before the food writer suddenly got down on one knee.
However, instead of presenting him with a ring, Henry offered his boyfriend a sandwich instead, before announcing that the launch of their new podcast was just hours away.
Sharing the clip on both of their accounts, the post was captioned: ‘We said yes!’
‘…but not to what you think!’ We’re thrilled to announce @ClubSandwichpod, our brand-new podcast that’s (kind of) about sandwiches, but really about so much more. Join us every Wednesday as we serve up laughs, stories, and dish out the goss!’
While many fans were quick to share their delight at the podcast’s announcement, others confessed that they were initially excited by news of an engagement.
Comments under the post included: ‘If this is the reaction to a podcast, what are we all going to be like when u actually get engaged;

‘I thought Henry was gonna propose; I was more than excited then!! However I am so, so excited for the podcast, made my
day, proud of you both;
‘For goodness sake guys!!! You almost made my Tuesday morning! But excited to listen; Oh my God I got way too giddy when u went down on one knee Henry!’
Back in March, Jordan and Henry shared how they were ‘taken aback’ to see the ‘endearing’ reactions from fans of their romance on social media.
Jordan and Henry have kept fans well-updated with their romance on social media, and the former lawyer, despite earning an army of fans for his sarcastic sense of humour, is no stranger to sharing romantic poems about his boyfriend.
After celebrating Jordan’s Big Brother victory at a boozy wrap party, the pair revealed that it took just three days for them to reunite after leaving the house.
