Big Brother star Tully Smyth has revealed that a US pop group unceremoniously stole her boyfriend.
Taking to TikTok recently, Tully, 37, revealed that one of her ‘favourite bands’ had snatched her love interest from her arms.
The band in question was US pop-rock trio Haim and Tully admitted that after the incident, she was unable to listen to their music for years.
She shared a short clip that humorously featured strains of the Haim single Relationships.
Captioning the short video what showed her sitting in the passenger seat of a car, Tully revealed that it was she who introduced her, then paramour to the sisterly trio.
‘When I was in a relationship with a guy and I introduced him to one of my favourite bands (this one actually), and invited him to an event they were playing at,’ Tully wrote.

While she stopped short of naming the Haim sister – Este, Danielle or Alana – that snagged her beau, Tully said the pair instantly hit it off.
‘After we bumped into his favourite member in our hotel lobby, I though it would be cute to introduce them,’ Tully continued.
However, Tully added that the introduction was to spell the end of her relationship with her beau with a penchant for popstars.
‘They swapped numbers and started texting behind my back,’ Tully revealed.
‘A few weeks later, he announced he was off to the USA on a solo holiday.’
Tully rounded out the post by deducing her beau’s trip was to indeed follow up on the chemistry forged with the mystery Haim member.
‘Next thing I knew he was at the side of the stage at some random festival watching them play,’ she added.
She captioned the clip: ‘Guess you could say I did this to myself?! (Worst part was it meant I couldn’t listen to their music for YEARS!’

Tully’s shock admission was met with a flurry of comments from followers.
‘Bit rude of the Haim sister to want to swap numbers with your bf instead of you? wtf?’ one offered. ‘That would be a better story.’
Another apparently confirmed Tully’s story with: ‘Hahaha I definitely camped beside your ex at this festival and was so jealous he was on the side of the stage for their set…2014?’
The reality star responded with: ‘Hahahahahahah correct! So glad you can back my story.’
A third was quick to ask if the man in question was her ex Daniel Parisi to which Tully replied, ‘Haha no!’
Whoever the mystery man was, it seems Tully has well and truly moved on with the reality star still going strong with current beau Ned Rohrt.
The love came just seven months after Tully split with her boyfriend of two years, Daniel Parisi.
The Instagram couple called it quits as they struggled to make their relationship work after Daniel moved to the US for his dream job.

Posting to her Instagram story in May 2023, the Melbourne native said she ‘never imagined’ she would be sharing the news that her and sports presenter Daniel had broken up.
She wrote: ‘Not something I ever imagined writing let alone sharing on here but you guys have been with me for over a decade now … so many of you have grown up alongside me.
‘I’ve spoken a lot recently about life and how it doesn’t always go according to plan or the way we had hoped.’
The reality star added that long distance relationships are ‘impossibly difficult’ and that she still has a lot of love for her ex-boyfriend.
‘Sometimes you can love someone with every fiber of your being and it still just doesn’t work out the way you so desperately wanted it to,’ she continued.
‘I will always be his biggest cheerleader, his loudest hype girl and his best friend.
‘We walk away with so much love, empathy, understanding, support and an immense amount of respect for one another.
