Former Big Brother star Katie Williams has broken her silence following her shock split with fiancée Georgia Hull.
The champion sprinter, 30, thanked her friends and family for looking after her as she spent several days with her loved ones on the Gold Coast on what was meant to be the Sydney ‘it’ couple’s wedding weekend.
Katie and Georgia, who got engaged last year, were scheduled to tie the knot on Saturday in a lavish three-day event at Vaucluse House in Launceston, Tasmania.
On Monday evening, a devastated Katie shared several photos of her trip away and said she was being ‘held up’ by her family members.
One photo captured her having drinks with a female friend at a bar and another showed her sunbaking in a black bikini next to an outdoor pool.
‘The toughest weekend I’ve ever faced, but held up by the best – family in every form. Grateful beyond words,’ she wrote.

Many of Katie’s celebrity friends quickly commented their words of support.
‘Sending love,’ wrote celebrity columnist Jana Hocking and podcaster Brittany Hockley posted a love heart emoji.
Katie and Georgia announced their shock split last week, just days before their wedding.
The couple had already cancelled a joint hen’s party which was meant to go ahead on January 11.
Friends of the couple were informed their wedding was ‘postponed’ soon after.
The couple confirmed to Confidential they had called it quits and moved out of their shared Bondi pad.
‘It is with a heavy heart, the decision was made to part ways despite a deep love and the utmost respect for each other,’ they told the publication.
They said they were ending things ‘with kindness and gratitude for the time they shared together’.

The pair had announced their engagement a year ago with great fanfare.
Katie shared a video to celebrate the happy moment, including footage of her huge engagement ring.
She also posted several loved-up photos of the couple enjoying a romantic candlelit dinner.
Meanwhile, Georgia shared snaps of passionate kisses and hugs with each other against a scenic coastal background.
Katie debuted her relationship with Georgia, her first same-sex relationship, back in August 2021.
She later spoke candidly about her romance in an interview with Daily Mail Australia and said she ‘couldn’t be more in love if she tried’.
Speaking about Georgia being her first ever girlfriend, Katie said they had developed an incredible bond.
‘She is actually my first girlfriend. Before Georgia I had dated guys! It’s so different; it’s an emotional bond like no other,’ she explained.
