Big Brother Australia’s Marley Biyendolo and US soccer star wife Lynn spotted at Perth Airport after attending the wedding of Sam Kerr and Kristie Mewis

Big Brother winner Marley Bieyendolo was all smiles this week when he was spotted at Perth airport with his US soccer star wife Lynn (née Williams).

The couple had plenty of reason to smile, too, having just attended the wedding of Aussie soccer star Sam Kerr and Kristie Mewis.

Marley, 30, and Lynn, 32, appeared to be still basking in the romantic glow of the glamorous nuptials, which took place on New Year’s Eve.

Marley cut a casual figure for the flight, stepping out in a black Nike Air Jordan T-shirt.

The basketballer also wore a pair of plain black Dickies shorts and finished his look with a pair of white Nike sneakers.

He accessorised with white earbuds, and was spotted carrying a lilac-coloured suitcase and a brown backpack slung over his shoulder.

Lynn, who plays for Seattle Reign in the US National Women’s Soccer League, was equally casual in a plain navy blue half-zip fleecy jumper.

The 32-year-old added a touch of drama to her outfit with a pair of loose-fitting, cheetah-print pants.

To complete her look, Lynn wore a pair of white sneakers and accessorised with a large, teal-coloured Stanley cup.

The couple, who themselves tied the knot in 2024, looked relaxed in each other’s company, happily chatting as they made their way through the airport to their flight.

Sam and Kristie tied the knot in a glamorous ceremony on New Year’s Eve in Perth with some big names from the world of women’s football all arriving to celebrate their special day.

The ceremony got underway at 5.30pm (AWST) at the magnificent Venetian estate, Villa Dionysus, which is situated just 23km north-east of Perth’s CBD.

Kristie, 34, looked stunning, wearing a sparkling wedding gown that featured a white lace corset that finished at her thigh. The corset was overlaid with a transparent dress that had seams of sparkly material running down its length.

Sam also dazzled, wearing an all-black tuxedo, complete with a white boutonniere and a bow tie.

The Aussie superstar carried the couple’s seven-month-old boy, Jagger, down the aisle, with Kristie breaking into tears.

The happy couple held hands and gazed lovingly into each other’s eyes as they recited their vows in front of a large crowd of over 100 guests at the stunning Swan Valley venue.

Kristie had predicted that it was set to be a hot day in Perth, and she was certainly right, with temperatures climbing to 35 degrees on New Year’s Eve.

Amid the searing heat, members of the wedding party were seen ducking and diving for shade, while some sheltered from the Perth sun under parasols as a violin and cello duo played in the corner of the villa.

A group of Sam’s Matildas team-mates paused to chat and toast their team-mate and her wife under an outdoor chandelier, before the couple walked down the aisle and said ‘I do’.

Sam, who hails from Perth, turned to face Kristie before bowing her head and holding her partner’s hands.

The pair grinned at each other as the ceremony continued, with the former West Ham United star also appearing to touch her beau on the arm in a show of affection.

Kerr’s father, Roger, was seen holding their baby boy Jagger during the ceremony.

The couple, who met at university, appeared overjoyed as they shared a kiss and a cuddle while celebrating their union with their loved ones.

The couple had long been looking forward to marriage, with Marley revealing plans to pop the question back in 2021.

When asked about marriage by The Daily Telegraph, he shared: ‘That is the plan for our future.

‘She will play soccer for another three years [in America] and at the end of all of that, we would love to settle down here in Australia.

‘So marriage is definitely in the works and in our plans for the future.’

The couple revealed in October that they are expecting their first child.

Marley was famously crowned the winner of the 2021 series of Big Brother Australia after spending 63 days in the house.

He took home the $250,000 cash prize and emotionally told how it would allow him to take care of his father Clotaire, after his mother Victoria’s death from cancer.
