Beyonce’s public charity foundation, BeyGOOD, has donated $2.5 million to help aid the Los Angeles fire relief as blazes continue to rage throughout Southern California.
The Halo singer, 43, aims to assist victims of the devastating fires that began earlier this week on Tuesday amid strong Santa Ana winds – with the death toll rising to 24 as of Sunday.
The Pacific Palisades Fire and Eaton Fire have destroyed around 12,000 structures alone and also currently burned a combined 37,830 acres.
On the foundation’s Instagram page, a post was shared on Sunday to announce that Beyonce was pledging the funds to the organization to assist families who have been ‘affected by the wildfires.’
The caption read: ‘Los Angeles we stand with you. BeyGOOD is taking action by announcing the LA Fire Relief Fund with a donation of 2.5 million dollars.’
‘The fund is earmarked to aid families in the Altadena/Pasadena area who lost their homes, and to churches and community centers to address the immediate needs of those affected by the wildfires.’

The award-winning performer founded the foundation in 2013, which ‘focuses on economic equity by supporting marginalized and under-resourced programs,’ per the official website.
It is also ‘committed to serving people through educational scholarships, the advocacy of internships, and access to resources for advancing entrepreneurship and small business sustainability across the country and abroad.’
Beyonce has previously donated through the nonprofit in the past and in 2020, pledged $6 million to help provide mental health support during the COVID-19 pandemic.
That same year, she also donated $500K through BeyGOOD to aid people that were in danger of losing their homes during the pandemic.
Last year in February 2024, the star pledged another $500K to cosmetology schools and salons.
She explained in a statement at the time that the fund ‘celebrates the influence professional stylists have on hair health and the critical importance of advocating for the salon community.’
Beyonce added that she would be ‘fostering talent, promoting professionalism, and supporting entrepreneurship within the hair industry.’

‘As a mom, I can’t imagine the pain and fear of not having a safe place for your babies so I’m launching an emergency fund through my nonprofit 11:11 Media Impact to support displaced families with young children.’
Paris added, ‘I’m starting with a personal contribution of $100,000, and will be matching additional dollars raised up to $100,000 more. I am looking for others to donate and match alongside me to do our part!’
The TV personality also shared that she planned to provide cash assistance to families, as well as temporary housing. She also will deliver essential supplies and help care for displaced pets by working with animal shelters.
