Better Homes and Gardens stars Charlie Albone and Juliet Love list their gorgeous $3.4m Maroubra home

Better Homes and Gardens stars Charlie Albone and Juliet Love are looking to offload his stunning Sydney home.

The celebrity gardener and interior design maven on the Channel Seven home improvement show, are asking for $3.4million for the sprawling pad in Maroubra in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.

The couple bought the home in 2019 for $2.35million before transforming the original two-story red brick home into a weatherboard coastal retreat, the Wentworth Courier reported.

The home also underwent a major renovation in 2021 that included a pool and a spa.

One of the jewels in the crown of this gorgeous home is its poolside garden, designed by Charlie.

His work was even recognised at the Landscape Association’s 2024 Landscape Excellence Awards.

Set on a 324-square-metre block the home features four spacious bedrooms with built-in wardrobes.

There is also a gourmet kitchen with an integrated fridge and dishwasher as well as an eye-catching marble splash back and imported Nicolazzi brass tapware.

The property also boasts ducted gas heating, air conditioning in the living room as well as house-wide water filtration.

Charlie’s stunning garden is augmented with a 5000-litre water tank and an automatic garden irrigation system.

The listing comes after the Channel Seven stars finally sold their Central Coast retreat for $2.2million in September.

The sprawling four-bedroom, three-bathroom property first hit the market in February with a price guide of $3million to $3.2million.

Failing to sell, the 2.07hectare property went back on the market in March with a revised listing of $2.45million to $2.65million.

Charlie and Juliet purchased the spread in 2012 for $840,000, reports The Daily Telegraph.

Located in Ourimbah, 92kms from Sydney, the highlight of the splendid rural retreat is a beautiful ‘Engish’ style cottage, surrounded by superbly maintained sculptured gardens.

Other highlights include a separate ‘unit’ which boasts its own kitchen and bedroom.

There’s also a delightful secluded backyard entertainment deck, which is hidden under a vine-covered alcove, and a saltwater pool.

Other features include a classic verandah, a vegetable garden and a fire pit.

The Maroubra purchase followed Charlie’s decision to quit Foxtel’s Selling Houses Australia in 2019 to join the Better Homes and Gardens team, replacing Jason Hodges.

Jason was brutally cut from the Channel Seven lifestyle show after 16 years.

But Charlie was thrilled to get the position in 2020.

He told fans on Instagram at the time: ‘Excitement overload! For those that don’t know yet I will be joining the amazing team at Better Homes and Gardens.’
