Ben Affleck made a statement about love on Tuesday after he finalized his divorce from Jennifer Lopez earlier this year.
While talking about The Accountant 2 with costar Jon Bernthal on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, the Oscar-winning actor spit out some telling words.
‘The people you love the most drive you the most crazy,’ shared the Argo director. He was shedding light on the way his character interacts with Jon’s character in the sequel; they play brothers in the film.
Affleck added, ‘And the humor is rooted in that relationship.’
Also in the interview Ben cleared up that he is a ‘happy’ person despite photographs of him looking glum when out on the town.
This comes a week after he called Jennifer ‘spectacular’ as he added: ‘She’s an enormously important, tremendous person of a lot of integrity who I adore and am grateful to.’

His line that ‘the people you love the most drive you the most crazy’ seems to be targeted at Lopez.
DailyMail.com in the past has reported that their marriage showed strain when she made a documentary with Affleck titled The Greatest Love Story Never Told.
In the movie, Affleck is visibly strained as he watched Jennifer melt down over her workload from producing the movie This Is Me… Now: A Love Story.
He tells her repeatedly to calm down and get comfortable with the filmmaking process but she is not able to.
Tears roll down her cheeks and she says she feels terrible missing an event they were supposed to attend together.
This comes a week after Ben told Entertainment Tonight he thinks Lopez is ‘spectacular.’
‘For the record, Jennifer Lopez is spectacular, great to my kids, great ongoing relationship with them,’ the star explained.
‘I love her kids. They’re wonderful. She’s an enormously important, tremendous person of a lot of integrity who I adore and am grateful to.’
And the actor added that he brought her 17-year-old twins Max and Emme to the premiere as well. They were joining the three children he has with ex-wife Jennifer Garner: Violet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 13.
‘It’s a great night. The kids are here, Jen’s kids are here. I’m very, very excited,’ Affleck told the outlet. ‘I’m proud of the movie, I love the movie and I love when all the kids come out. It’s really fun, it’s exciting.’

He continued, ‘I’m thrilled that the kids are here with me. The relationships that you can have with children like that, it’s the joy of my life. And those kids are amazing, and I’m glad that this is a movie they want to come to.’

The AMA host said it will be an ‘unforgettable’ evening as she performs her hit songs in the Middle East on Saturday.
Lopez will headline the 2025 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix weekend in Jeddah on April 19. It will be her first performance at an F1 event in 11 years, having previously headlined at the 2014 Singapore Grand Prix.
The singer will be joined by Party Next Door, Major Lazer and Usher.
Formula 1 returns to Jeddah Corniche Circuit for the fifth running of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix on April 18-20, 2025.
Lopez has been keeping very busy this year as she also is filming Office Romance in Brooklyn, set to light up a Pride concert in June and will have tour stops all summer.
The Bronx native finalized her divorce from Ben four months ago and appears to still be single.

‘Instead of crying over it, however, they are working their hearts out. They love being busy with solid projects.’

And on Tuesday Affleck was seen filming the new movie Animals in a Los Angeles river where his shoes got wet.
Neither one has a new love interest, the source added, even though Lopez has looked cozy with his Office Romance costar Brett Goldstein.

Lopez seemed thrilled with her new concerts in the hot months.

As far as Ben, he has started working on his new films Animals.
It has been reported he has replaced his longtime pal Matt Damon in the upcoming Netflix film, after the 54-year-old stepped down.
Luckily for fans of the iconic duo, insiders confirmed Damon will remain involved behind-the-scenes.
Both he and Affleck are producing the project under their Artists Equity banner, alongside Dani Bernfeld. Meanwhile, the script was penned by Connor McIntyre and Captain Phillips screenwriter Billy Ray.
