Kate Chastain celebrated her baby boy, Sullivan’s, big TV debut as he dressed up as her former Below Deck co-star, Captain Lee Rosbach.
The TV personality, 40 – who welcomed the five-month-old earlier this year in May – brought along her little one to appear on the finale episode of Couch Talk With Captain Lee And Kate, which aired on Monday.
In a snippet recently uploaded to Bravo’s main Instagram page, the mother of one happily told Rosbach, 73, ‘Guess what? Our exciting guest is ready.’
‘All right,’ he replied, awaiting the surprise. As soon as Sullivan appeared on the screen while wearing a sailor outfit, a bright smile lit up on Captain Lee’s face.
‘He dressed up just for you,’ Chastain stated as she propped her son on her lap. Rosbach then responded with, ‘And quite smartly I must say.’

‘So nice of you to be awake while I’m here,’ he sweetly told Sullivan, adding, ‘Well, he’s just perfect.’ Lee then asked if he could hold the little one.
After humorously doing a quick diaper check, Chastain allowed Rosbach to hold her son, who let out a little whine when he was not in his mother’s arms. ‘That means he’s happy,’ she told him.
He soon let the media personality hold her baby once again, causing him to jokingly say, ‘If I saw me looking down at me, I’d raise hell, too.’
As the short clip concluded, Lee informed his former co-star, ‘You did good,’ which prompted her to reply with, ‘Thank you. Totally worth the nine months.’
Kate and Captain Lee Rosbach notably appeared on screen together on Below Deck from season two through season seven.
However, Chastain – who had starred as the Chief Steward – announced her exit from the hit Bravo series in February 2020.
Late last year in December, the TV personality announced that she was expecting her first child by uploading a stylish mirror selfie as she showcased her growing baby bump in a fitted, floral-print dress.
In the caption, she penned to her fans and followers, ‘I’m already planning so many birthday theme parties for you,’ followed by both red and blue heart emojis.

And earlier this year in May, she revealed that her little boy was welcomed to the world and shared a sweet snap of the newborn while in the hospital. ‘Hard Launch: Sullivan Cay,’ Kate wrote.
Since her child was born, the TV personality has kept her fans updated as she raises Sullivan by sharing photos and videos onto social media.
The father of the baby boy has yet to be revealed, however, fans have speculated in the past that Below Deck chef, Ben Robinson, was the dad.
In April, one month before her son was born, the duo posed for a fun picture together that was shared to his own Instagram page.
Chastain gently rested her right hand on her burgeoning bump while Ben mimicked a similar pose as the pair flashed smiles towards the camera.
In the caption of the post, he humorously penned to his 900k followers, ‘Who knew that Kate Chastain and I would be the same weight one day…But to be fair I have been hitting the gym!’

Chef Ben then sweetly added, ‘Please wish my great friend @kate_chastain an easy delivery and a healthy beautiful baby! I am so proud of who you have become and the mother you will soon be,’ followed by a red heart emoji.
She has since publicly addressed the rumors in regards to the child’s father, and shut down speculation that Ben was Sullivan’s dad.
Shortly after he was born, she took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and alongside a cute image of her baby, she wrote, ‘For the record, the only thing this handsome guy has in common with any chef is the tendency to get emotional around meal times.’
Later, she slammed the rumors once again by uploading a side-by-side picture of Ben when he was a baby and also Sullivan.
Kate typed, ‘It would be great if people would stop commenting and messaging me “baby Ben!”…..every single day. For reference this is Ben as a baby on the left next to Sullivan. Clearly not related.’

While talking to Us Weekly in August about the speculation, Chastain expressed, ‘I don’t even think they look alike. All I can do at this point is laugh. It’s a high compliment to Ben, so I’m happy for him.’
In regards to how Robinson felt about the speculation that he was the father, she stated, ‘I think he loves it. Ben loves it more than I do for sure.’
Kate then gushed about motherhood, revealing to the outlet, ‘I love it so much, but I am constantly shocked by how much work it is. And that’s coming from me who was known on for working quite a lot.’
‘It’s a lot of work that I love so much,’ she stated, adding, ‘Postpartum was no big deal [for me] just because I was so distracted by having this baby. I’m very fortunate in that way and I’m just absolutely obsessed with him.’
