Longtime Ten Floor Manager Ray Lindsay, who worked on popular shows Prisoner and Neighbours, has died.
He passed away peacefully at his Melbourne home last Sunday, TV Tonight reported.
He is survived by his wife Sue and seven children.
Ray started his career in theatre after landing his first job at The Tivoli.
He then worked as a Stage Manager and Assistant Stage Manager at JC Williamsons Theatrical Productions in the 1960s.

Ray also worked at The Comedy and Palais theatres on shows including Paris By Night and The Black.
He eventually landed a job at ATV-0 before becoming one of the stage hands at 10 and then moving to the head of the department.
He has worked on several shows at 10 including The Box, Prisoner and Neighbours.
Ray married his wife Sue after meeting at The Princess theatre, where she danced on Carousel.

‘In my eyes, Ray Lindsay was the godfather of TV production. Growing up and seeing his credit on Prisoner for so many years then being offered a job by Ray in January 1990 at ATV 10 Melbourne on Neighbours at the age of 17, was a dream come true.’
‘A great mentor, a true professional and an absolute gentleman. RIP Mr Lindsay.’
Another devastated person said: ‘Vale Ray Lindsay my condolences to the whole Lindsay family. Absolute legend of first AD in studio drama.’
‘Ray a true gentleman who was held in such high esteem by all that knew him and had the privilege of working with him,’ one said.
