Bella Thorne showcased her fit form in a bikini while blaming a popular weight loss drug for creating ‘unrealistic beauty standards.’
The Unsettled director, 26, posed in a blue animal print two-piece with a halter top and French cut bottom in a video released Saturday on social media.
Her auburn hair was pulled back into a ponytail and she appeared to be makeup free as she posed in a large hotel bathroom.
‘So I haven’t been feeling good about my body in a while, especially with everybody on Ozempic,’ she said referring to the diabetes drug, which has had remarkable affects on weight loss, in her Instagram Stories.
She said the widespread use of the medication in Hollywood ‘is setting all these crazy beauty standards that nobody can keep up with unless they’re on Ozempic.’

The Saint Clare star then listed the exercises she’s been doing to stay in shape without benefit of the drug.
‘I have swam every day and I have sweat out everything possible, and I have walked everywhere, and I’m finally feeling good about myself,’ she admitted.
‘Finally feeling good,’ she repeated, adding, ‘So Ozempic, you can… off’ she said using the one fingered salute.
In another clip, the Shake It singer posed in her swimsuit as she shared the beautiful ocean view from her hotel room that appeared to be from her stay in Italy for the Taormina Film Festival where her film Saint Clare opened the festival and Unsettled enjoyed a special screening.
In two other clips, the Disney alum showcased her natural beauty appearing makeup free.
‘If you only knew my acne journey,’ she wrote over one clip. ‘No effect, no makeup’ she wrote across the top of another and then asked fans ‘does everyone remember when I used to post popping my pimples on Snapchat?’
In the next clip, referring to her pimple popping, she smiled for the camera and sang, ’cause I don’t have to do that anymore!’
The multi-hyphenate is prepping for her feature directorial debut, Color Your Hurt.

The film is a longer version of the 15-minute short Unsettled, and focuses on a young gay man in the Bible belt who wants to bring his tormenters to justice after he was drugged and kidnapped from a gay bar.
Thorne told Deadline that rather than focusing solely on the abuse Parks received, she is approaching the project as a coming-of-age thriller that follows Parks on his 37 year journey for justice.
As a survivor of sexual abuse herself, the young star said, ‘I felt it was unfair to myself and all other survivors of having your whole story being this one horrible thing that happened to you.’
‘That’s really unfair and I thought if somebody did a movie about my life, me being molested growing up would be such a small portion of my movie.’
