Bec Judd has denied claims that her employees weren’t invited to her activewear brand Jaggad’s lavish 10-year anniversary celebrations last month.
The 40-year-old and her label’s co-founder, fellow WAG Michelle Greene, celebrated the occasion with a lavish dinner at Melbourne restaurant Reine & La Rue and a trip to the ballet.
They were joined by Bec’s celebrity pals, including ex-WAGs Nadia Bartel, Kylie Brown and Jeri Jones, and well as stylist Lana Wilkinson, makeup artist Chantelle Baker, fashion designer Effie Kats, and radio star Lauren Phillips.
Following the event, The Herald Sun falsely reported that the ‘hard working’ staff at Jaggad weren’t invited to the festivities, and that Bec and Michelle had thrown a ‘lower tier’ luncheon for them instead.
Bec has since rubbished these claims via Instagram Stories, sharing a screenshot of the article and underlying the words, ‘Pity staff weren’t invited.’

‘Oh please [eyeroll emoji]. Yes they were. If you’d bothered to ask us we would’ve told you so,’ she wrote.
‘The fact journalists can just make (incorrect) assumptions and print it like it’s the truth is WILD.’
Bec and Michelle spared no expense on the evening event, splashing thousands of dollars on a luxury coach to transport the group to Her Majesty’s Theatre in Melbourne to watch the Australian Ballet’s performance of Swan Lake.

Premium tickets to the performance cost around $200.
Photos also show the group dining on a sumptuous spread including $200 steaks, $26 chocolate tarts and glasses of $450 Veuve Clicquot champagne.
Also attending the festivities were Bec and Michelle’s respective husbands, sports stars Chris Judd and Steven Green, who also helped established Jaggad in 2013.

Meanwhile, photos of the Jagged luncheon showed how staff members were treated to a comparatively humble spread of sausage rolls, prawns, fruit, cheese and a custom cake.
Jaggad was established in 2013 and has become one of Australia’s trendiest athleisure brands.
Bec, who lives in a $7.3m mansion in Melbourne’s affluent Brighton, told the Herald Sun in May that she ‘loves’ seeing the success of her label after years of hard work.

‘It is a real Melbourne local brand and I love seeing people everywhere in Melbourne wearing it,’ she said.
‘It’s not easy but 10 years in it is good, it is really good.’
Rebecca went on to say: ‘The brand essence of Jaggad is the unstoppable woman and to be unstoppable we need to embrace imperfection.’
