Bec Judd has hit back after a follower accused of her ‘wanting children in jail’.
The designer has been waging a one-woman war on youth crime in her affluent Melbourne suburb, with social media posts attacking the Victorian government.
In an Instagram Stories post earlier this week, the influencer and former AFL WAG fired up over a 16-year old boy being released on bail after he allegedly stole a Mercedes from a woman with cerebral palsy and crashed into a Volvo being driven by a mum picking up her kids from school.
One follower took issue with the post, sending Bec a direct message that read: ‘So you’re cool with putting children in jail?
Bec was quick to share her reply to Instagram Stories on Friday, writing: ‘No, I’m not. I think there are better ways to save these kids like preventative programs/social scaffolding etc.
‘But I’m more than okay with putting violent reoffenders in jail who’ve been given chance after chance’ she continued.
‘You know the ones who invade people’s homes with machetes, attack them, steal their cars and hit and kill innocent civilians while driving them?
‘We need to keep the community safe and there is a small group of violent reoffenders who are causing the majority of problems.

‘I am more than happy to see them incarcerated to keep Victorians safe. I hope that makes sense.’
She further added in her caption on the post: ‘Just so we are clear. If we had better preventative programs we wouldn’t be in this mess.
‘They take time though and they won’t save the many families who will have their homes invaded tonight and tomorrow and the next day. We need long and short term plans to deal with this crisis.’
Judd had earlier attached a news report of the alleged incident, which happened in her suburb of Brighton in Melbourne’s Bayside, to her Instagram Stories.

The 16-year-old driver was allegedly speeding and driving the stolen Mercedes on the wrong side of the road before crashing into the Volvo.
The Mercedes had been stolen hours earlier and had been been specially modified for the owner who has cerebral palsy.
The alleged driver was charged with theft of a motor vehicle and was bailed to appear in court at a later date.
The alleged incident sparked anger from Judd, who took aim at Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan and state Attorney General Jaclyn Symes.
‘Keep Victorians (not just Baysiders) safe. Already out on bail and probably breaking into some innocent person’s home tonight,’ Judd captioned the TV news segment shared
‘@jacintaallanmp @jaclynsymesmp Victoria is falling to pieces on your watch. You should both be ashamed.’
Earlier this month, Judd expressed her anger that one of the youths allegedly involved in the kidnapping of teenager Benjamin Phikhohpoom in Melbourne that left him with permanent brain damage had walked free despite pleading guilty.

‘Victoria, this is not OK but sadly just another case of a violent offender let off because our laws are weak,’ Judd wrote on social media.
Last month, Judd slammed Melbourne as ‘woke, broke and violent’ after residents were encouraged to put Apple AirTags in their cars amid a crimewave in the city.
The footy WAG, who lives in a $7.3million mansion in Brighton, was drawn to comment on an interview between 3AW radio’s Jacqui Felgate and Sandringham Liberal MP, Brad Rowswell.
During the talk, Mr Rowswell was asked about a rise in violent crime in Melbourne’s suburbs.
The MP was asked about a suggestion at a community safety forum in Beaumaris last Thursday that residents consider placing AirTag trackers inside their cars in case they are stolen – something Judd took issue with.
‘Melbourne this is sad. Woke, broke and violent. I can’t believe we are living like this,’ Judd wrote online.
In March, Judd called out Premier Allan after a home invasion in Bayside left an elderly man fighting for his life.
