BBC star Peter Grant has sadly died after a short battle with cancer.
Tributes have started to be shared since news broke of the beloved former broadcaster’s death.
Peter was adored by fans who knew him on many stations from Magic, Hallam FM, Durham FM, Plymouth Sound, BBC Radio Newcastle and Tees, Radio Aire and TFM.
He also appeared on screen, hosting shows for Made In Tyne and Wear and BBC Look North breakfast.
