Barry Keoghan shared a special moment with Joaquin Phoenix at the Golden Globes on Sunday… after both actors played the same character – the Batman villain Joker.
Keoghan, 31, played Joker in 2022’s The Batman, and while he was only heard in the theatrical cut, Warner Bros. released a deleted scene with him and Robert Pattinson’s Batman, shortly after the film hit theaters.
Phoenix, 49, won his first Oscar for playing the title character in 2019’s Joker, which isn’t connected to the over-arching DC Extended Universe.
Both actors posed for a photo during the Golden Globes ceremony on Sunday, with Keoghan captioning the snap on Instagram, ‘Just havin’ a laugh’ with a clown face emoji as well.
Keoghan and Phoenix were both nominated for Golden Globes as well, though both came away empty-handed.
