Barry ‘Bear’ Myrden attempted to keep a low profile ahead of The Golden Bachelor’s inaugural season finale.
The leading man was seen arriving at Sydney Airport alongside the series’ host Samantha Armytage as they prepared to jet off to South Africa for the show’s explosive final episodes.
The pair, who were at the centre of romance rumours earlier this year when they attended the Logies together, attempted to dodge cameras as they made their way through the airport and headed to the check-in desk.
Bear rocked a summery ensemble for the travel day, wearing a blue button-up shirt with a white palm tree print, which he unbuttoned halfway to reveal a glimpse of his chest.
The 61-year-old finished off the ensemble with chino pants, sneakers and sunglasses in an attempt to go incognito.
As for his on-screen colleague Samantha, she sported a laidback airport outfit as she checked in her bags.

Transformation coach Jan Herdman, 66, was personally chosen by the Golden Bachelor to attend a romantic ballet performance with him at the Sydney Opera House, where they had a heart-to-heart discussion about their past loves.Â
The pair were seen bonding and cuddling as they watched a private ballet performance, as Jan later poured her heart out to an understanding Bear.
‘How come I have been single for so long? I was badly burned, there was infidelity. He couldn’t understand why he couldn’t have both her and I,’ an emotional Jan confided to Bear.

‘Really? That must have been tough,’ Bear replied, as they snuggled on a couch – and Jan later told producers she thought they had a real connection.Â
‘I believe we had a connection and I’m hoping we can build on that,’ an excited Jan told producers.
Unfortunately for Jan, while Bear did feel a connection, he felt a stronger one with three of the other women, which led to her elimination at the end of the episode.Â
Bear admitted he felt a stronger connection with Sunny, Kim and Janette, leaving no room for a heartbroken Jan.Â
‘This is so hard, so absolutely loved the ballet and jumping into everything feet first,’ Bear told a devastated Jan as he said goodbye to her.
‘I wanted a rose tonight, I wanted to continue the journey. But I am really proud that I put myself in a position where I am vulnerable,’ Jan later admitted.Â
‘It’s been a growing process for me. I definitely deserve love and I know that.’Â
