The family of late Euphoria star Angus Cloud are being sued by a bank amid claims the actor owed more than $9000.
According to legal documents obtained by The Blast and filed by JP Morgan Chase Bank, Cloud, 25, who died on July 31 from an accidental overdose, owed them $9,056.11 and they want to collect their payment from his estate.
The claim was filed on Monday, November 27, by the bank and served to Cloud’s mother Lisa Cloud.
The legal documents indicate the ‘Decedent purchased goods and/or services totaling the owed amount’.
Lisa filed for control of Cloud’s estate two months ago, asking to be made sole executor of his estate as he died without a will.

Lisa estimates his personal property is worth around $1,000,000.
She wrote in a court document: ‘Angus Cloud was a young, successful actor, best known for his work in the HBO series Euphoria.
‘Upon his passing, he was engaged in a number of agreements that require immediate oversight, management, and enforcement
‘Based on a review of some existing agreements, (Lisa) believes Angus assigned certain rights to (a loan-out company), including, but not limited to, certain intellectual property and/or name, image, and likeness rights, as well as his rights to receive income.’
It was noted that Cloud ‘finished an acting job shortly before his death, but may not have signed all the applicable agreements. These require the prompt attention of the Company and/or the Estate to allow the project to move forward with the requisite rights.’
This comes after Lisa opened up about the actor’s final weeks before his death at 25 on July 31 from an accidental overdose.
Lisa spoke with People Monday about her son’s passing, and how she found him in his childhood room the morning he died.
The emotional interview came less than a week after officials with the Alameda County Coroner’s Bureau Cloud ruled the actor’s death an accidental overdose as result of acute intoxication from combined effects of methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl and benzodiazepines.
While at the family’s Oakland, California home, Lisa pointed to a desk in his room and told the outlet, ‘This is where my boy passed away.
‘He loved his home and he loved this little, tiny room,’ she said of Angus, who was with his family in the wake of father’s passing earlier in the month.

She recalled to the outlet how she found him in the morning, slumped down on his desk, and tried to revive him.
‘I started shaking him and screaming,’ Lisa said. ‘I pushed him hard, and he fell on the floor. I tried to resuscitate him – mouth to mouth – and I was compressing him.
‘I was screaming for my neighbor because I didn’t want to leave him and call 911, and I just kept at it until they took him away. I miss him so much. He was the love of my life.’
Lisa said that Angus had been ‘deeply grieving’ his father Conor Hickey’s May 18 death of at the age of 65.
She said that Angus and twin sisters Molly and Fiona in July had traveled to Ireland to spread the ashes of Hickey, who had been diagnosed with cancer earlier in the year.
‘They were all devastated,’ she said of the actor and his siblings, adding that Angus ‘absolutely loved his father.
‘He also knew he really loved him. He was so proud of Angus. My son thought of Pops as his best friend. There is no doubt that his father’s death took a toll on him.’
Angus had missed the funeral service because he was too high, his mother told the outlet, but was able to spread his dad’s ashes near his grandparents’ gravesite in Dublin.

Lisa said that Angus had been ‘deeply grieving’ the death of his father Conor Hickey (pictured) this past May. On July 14, he posted a pic of his late dad on Instagram captioned, ‘miss u breh’
‘His heart was overflowing with the love to share, running into the waves, heart filling with the ocean,’ Lisa said of her son. ‘His smiles and laughs will live on with us forever.’
Cloud’s mother said that the actor was dealing with frequent headaches and illness after the family returned to the U.S., adding that ‘there were deep troubles.
‘He was not functioning, and it was clear he was grief-stricken,’ she said. ‘And if you are somebody who turns to drugs, that would be the logical thing to do, and that’s what he did.’
Lisa said that the death of Angus’s father ‘isn’t responsible for his, but he clearly couldn’t cope.’
Angus on July 14 shared a post on Instagram of an image of his father with the caption, ‘miss u breh.’
Lisa said that ‘it was predominantly the central nervous system depressants’ that led to her son’s passing, as the medication ‘started to slow his heart and slow his breathing.’
‘He got tired from lack of oxygen,’ she added. ‘Everything just slowed down, and eventually his heart stopped and he went to sleep. But he didn’t kill himself.’
Lisa continued: ‘He went out at his total power, his total beauty, his total influence, and the reaction that everyone has had is very moving to me.
His final post came on July 18 when he showed off a set of grillz from the company Grant Grillz, with the geotag coming from Dublin, Ireland
Cloud played the role of Fezco on the hit HBO series from 2019-2022
‘You know, he’s not just an actor who overdosed. He was a beautiful soul, and that’s why people miss him so much.’
Cloud’s uncle Kevin Cloud said that Angus appeared to be in a decent mood the day before his death.
‘We spent about four hours of his last afternoon together,’ he said. ‘It was an easy and happy time. He seemed supremely fit and healthy.’
Lisa said of her son: I always knew he was special and I’m so glad the world also found out he was special. My son will always shine bright.’

Cloud had past appeared in films such as 2023’s The Line opposite John Malkovich, 2021’s North Hollywood and on the TV series The Perfect Women.
He also had appeared in music videos for Becky G & Karol G’s Mamii in 2022; and in Juice WRLD’s Cigarettes in 2022.
At the time of his passing, Cloud had a number of projects in the works, including two unreleased films, according to iMDb, including a horror film titled Your Lucky Day and an Oakland-based drama titled Freaky Tales, starring Pedro Pascal and Ben Mendelsohn. He was also linked to Scream 6 slated for next year.

Cloud did not have any acting experience ahead of his role on Euphoria, as he was discovered by casting scout Eléonore Hendricks while walking in New York City, according to the AP.
Cloud was initially skeptical of the opportunity, thinking it was a scam, but eventually got the role after meeting with casting director Jennifer Venditti.
Fans of the show lauded Cloud for his authenticity in the role, to an extent that he spoke about the misconceptions people had that he didn’t have to do much when the cameras were on.
‘It does bother me when people are like, “It must be so easy! You get to go in and be yourself,”‘ he told Variety. ‘I’m like, “Why don’t you go and do that?” It’s not that simple. I brought a lot to the character. You can believe what you want. It ain’t got nothing to do with me.’
