Jackass star Bam Margera revealed he popped the question to his girlfriend, Dannii Marie, after six months of dating.
While raving about his gorgeous fiancée in a new interview, the 44-year-old former former skateboarder revealed they are ‘a really good team’ and described how she motivates him to live a better life.
‘I never had structure before. I always woke up not knowing what to do with the day,’ the actor, who got sober in August 2023, recalled. ‘I would just look across the street, see an Irish pub and be like, ‘That looks like fun.”
The father-of-one went on to credit her for helping him get clean within two months of their relationship, which began to blossom over the summer.

‘Now I wake up, I walk the dogs, I stretch, I go to the gym, I go skateboarding,’ he told Us Weekly. ‘Everything’s a structured fun schedule. And we do it together, and it’s just a perfect thing.’
She told the outlet: ‘He went through [detox] and I didn’t go anywhere… We stayed in this beautiful crystal infested pool house where we just healed, all of us, and we shut the phones off. He didn’t have a phone. I changed his number and we just X’d the bad people and here we are.’
The performer confirmed he proposed in October, 13 weeks after they were first romantically linked after he shared a snap of them together at a grocery store on July 4.
In September, he gave a shoutout to Marie for helping him maintain his first ‘month of sobriety’ and getting him ‘month of sobriety.’
A week later, she penned a sweet birthday tribute to him, in which she called her man an ‘amazing, one-of-a-kind soul.’
‘Words cannot express the connection and the bond we share. Keep after your goals and your eyes on the future. I am beyond proud of you, and I love being by your side,’ she gushed in her post.
The exciting news comes after reports surfaced that he scored his first court-monitored visit with his five-year-old son Phoenix Wolf in nearly a year after celebrating 120 days of sobriety.
Earlier this month, his estranged wife Nikki Boyd’s attorney David Glass told TMZ that Margera can see his child with a professional supervisor sometime around Christmas in Los Angeles.

On October 27, he told fans that it had been 200 days since he saw Phoenix, whom he loves ‘more than anything.’
‘It’s been a legal matter with David Glass-hole, a never-ending money pit,’ Bam – who boasts 8.2M social media followers – lamented.
He added: ‘I just want Nikki to be happy and it’s time for us to both grow up.’
The 39-year-old former PennHurst Asylum staffer filed for legal separation from Margera the day after Valentine’s Day, but lists their separation date as September 2021 after nearly eight years of marriage.
