COLEEN Rooney suffered an awkward moment with husband Wayne during a new episode of his podcast.
The I’m a Celebrity star, 39, sat down with Wayne, 40, former jungle campmate Danny Jones, presenter Kelly Somers and comedian Kae Kurd for the episode.
Kelly, 34, kicked the conversation off by asking Coleen what her husband is like to live with.
She replied: “He’s quite easy, because he doesn’t do much.”
As Wayne pulled a face, Kelly said: “That’s the most back-handed compliment I’ve ever heard.”
Coleen attempted to backtrack, saying: “No… so he’s not, like…”
But Kelly quipped: “This episode could end in divorce.”
Wayne started: “I get home, I cook the kids’ food…”
But Coleen cut in: “No, I don’t mean like that, I mean like if you live with someone… I think I’m probably harder to live with than he is because I’m more… I want to be doing things.
“I’m watching what I say now.”
Wayne continued: “So I say to her all the time, why don’t you sit down for two hours and have a rest?
“And she’ll get annoyed if I take the kids to school and come back and sit on the couch and watch TV.”
During an appearance on Good Morning Britain this week, Wayne revealed what Coleen stole from the I’m a Celebrity jungle last year.
GMB anchor Susanna Reid, 54, asked him about the gold stars, jungle hat and rubber duck perched on a shelf behind him as he conducted the interview from his Manchester home.
She said: “Just over your left ear we can see a hat and some stars – are they souvenirs from Coleen’s time Down Under?”
He replied: “Yeah that’s a hat and a few stars that she took away from the programme last year.
“She really enjoyed it, she loved her time being in there and the memories.”
