Laura Byrne and Brittany Hockley were left speechless on Thursday after a listener shared her horrifying sexual dilemma.
The Life Uncut podcasters were stunned after receiving a message on their ‘ask uncut’ segment where a woman claimed her partner of three years told her if she didn’t have sex with him more often he was going to leave her.
Brittany read the letter, which said: ‘We currently have sex twice a week and that isn’t enough for him. He told me our sex life is sh*t and makes him unhappy and people our age should be having sex all the time. I have vaginismus, which is getting better, but I just don’t find sex enjoyable.’
‘I cannot orgasm from penetration and it is very uncomfortable, but I still do it for him. He has said everything else in our relationship is perfect, but the reason we are not engaged is because of the sex.’
After reading out the message, Brittany said: ‘That is horrific. And if anyone’s number one priority in a relationship is sex, for me…red flag.’

Laura replied: ‘It’s okay for sex to be a very important part of your relationship. I understand that, it’s very important to be on the same page.’
‘Sex does not have any longevity without any ebbs and flows in a relationship. What happens if you decide to have children? What happens when and if work becomes really stressful? Are you still expected to put out to satisfy this insatiable sexual urge that he has?’ she said.
Laura went on to say that the listener needed to feel ‘safe and secure’ in her relationship in order to overcome her vaginismus.

Vaginismus, which is an involuntary muscle spasm around the vagina, makes sexual intercourse painful for women affected by the condition.
Often the muscle spasms are a response brought on by fear that sexual penetration will hurt, though it has been known to have other underlying causes.
The Life Uncut segment was shared to Instagram, where most fans condemned the listener’s partner.

‘Huge red flags and some signs of domestic violence right there. Hard decision to step away from a long term relationship, but he’s got to go,’ wrote one follower.
Another fan added: ‘He doesn’t love you. His “love” is conditional and it shouldn’t be. Leave now.’
‘I think a lot of men exaggerate their sex lives so he needs to stop comparing. I think you’ll find twice a week is pretty amazing,’ wrote another commenter.
