A Gold Coast-based Australian adult entertainer has revealed the very surprising way she is preparing for Tropical Cyclone Alfred’s expected arrival in Queensland.
Sex worker Blue Eyed Kayla Jade, 30, recently shared a video to social media in which she revealing she had stocked up on batteries for her adult ‘toys’ ahead of the cyclone’s arrival.
‘I have done all the important things. I have brought all my outdoor furniture inside… and all my toys are charged, just in case the power goes out!’ Kayla said.
Kayla later revealed she was trying to keep her spirits up during this difficult time.
‘I think with Australians, we don’t take too many things seriously… part of the culture,’ Kayla told news.com.au.
‘Even though there is a dramatic situation going on they’re happy to see the laughter out of it, see the positives and bring something happy to chaos.’

The couple own a mega-mansion worth $50million, near Seven Mile Beach in the Byron Bay region, which is 111km south of the Gold Coast.

Cyclone Alfred has slowed over warm water off Australia’s coast, increasing the chance of it strengthening to a category-three system.
The tropical cyclone will be the first to hit southeast Queensland and northeast NSW in over 50 years.
A warning zone stretching 650km remains in place from Double Island Point in Queensland to Grafton in northern NSW. The zone includes Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Byron Bay and Ballina, but doesn’t include Grafton.
The category-two cyclone is expected to make landfall in the early hours of Saturday morning, Queensland Premier David Crisafulli said.
The Bureau said there was a chance the cyclone could make landfall directly over Brisbane, but the most likely crossing ‘still remains between Maroochydore and Coolangatta’.
