Austin Butler leaped in front of a taxi as he filmed scenes for his upcoming film, Caught Stealing, with Zoe Kravitz on Thursday. 

The actor, 33, plays Hank Thompson in the thriller, a former baseball player who finds himself caught up in the criminal underworld of 90s New York City. 

Zoe, 35, will star as his love interest Yvonne, with the duo pictured sharing a steamy kiss earlier this week. 

Sporting a much longer hairstyle, Austin looked grungy in a Cherry Tavern T-shirt – an East Village dive bar – and khaki cargos. 

Meanwhile, Zoe wore a 90s style slip dress, with a black cardigan and lace-up Dr Marten boots.

Filming for Caught Stealing kicked off in late September — six months after Austin’s casting was confirmed. 

Zoe stepped on set for the first time on September 21 after the actor began shooting scenes in NYC on September 25.

Caught Stealing is a film adaptation of the 2004 book of the same name by author Charlie Huston, who also wrote the screenplay.

As per Deadline, the film ‘follows Hank Thompson (Butler), a burned-out former baseball player, as he’s unwittingly plunged into a wild fight for survival in the downtown criminal underworld of ’90s New York City.’

The star-studded crime thriller also features performances by Regina King, Liev Schreiber, Vincent D’Onofrio, Matt Smith and Bad Bunny.

Matt looked nearly unrecognizable at Wednesday’s shoot as he rocked a large multi-coloured mohawk, a studded leather jacket and skinny plaid pants.

The Doctor Who alum, 41, did not film any scenes with Austin or Zoe. 

Caught Stealing marks Austin’s latest high-profile role after starring in Dune: Part Two, which remains the highest grossing film of 2024 thus far.
