An Australian influencer has shared her frustration after claiming Ticketmaster accidentally charged her $80,000 for Ariana Grande concert tickets.
Brisbane-based Jade Campbell recently posted a fiery rant to TikTok, revealing the mishap occurred after trying to purchase two tickets to one of the singer’s upcoming Canadian shows.
‘Ticketmaster charged us $80,000 for Ariana Grande tickets. I am not exaggerating, I wish I was,’ she began.
She added she believed the mistake began when she was unable to purchase one of the first-round tickets and had to buy one of the resells, which saw her charged significantly more than the listed price.
‘My sister and I got tickets to a Montreal show, and we paid literally $2,500 each to be on the floor. It was so expensive, but we were like, we’ve just got to do it, Ariana is our favourite artist,’ Campbell added.
Campbell then said she may have been charged for more than one ticket after a technical issue saw the tickets she purchased cancelled and then reinstated.

‘About two hours later, we got an email saying they cancelled our tickets. Panic set in, we rang Ticketmaster and they said to try and get tickets again,’ she explained.
‘We tried to get tickets in a different row, but it wouldn’t go through. But we later checked our credit card and thousands of dollars had been charged. These were in amounts of like $4,500, $5,000, various amounts, not just one charge.’
She finished by saying the accumulated cost was $80,000, and it had been extremely difficult to rectify the situation.
It follows reports that Ariana Grande said she was ‘bothered’ after her Eternal Sunshine tour sold out within minutes and scalpers were already attempting to resell tickets with hiked-up prices.
On Sunday, the singer-songwriter, 32, took to social media to address her fans’ concerns and said she is ‘fighting for a solution’ so they can attend her long-awaited tour in 2026.
This comes after some of her fans vented about how they were unable to purchase tickets during the presale and general sale.
Many resale tickets from third-party retailers are now priced at over 10 times the face value for several of her shows, and Grande assured fans that she has been ‘on the phone every second of my free time’ even though she has been ‘on set all week.’
On Saturday morning, she shared a post and wrote: ‘Hi my angels, I have been on set all week but I wanted to let you know that what’s been happening with the secondary ticket resellers has been brought to my attention.’

The pop star — who fans are convinced has broken up with or is heading towards a split with her boyfriend and Wicked co-star Ethan Slater — added: ‘Of course I am incredibly bothered by it.’
The Supernatural hitmaker continued, ‘I’ve been on the phone every second of my free time fighting for a solution. Hopefully we will be able to get more of these tickets into your hands instead of theirs. It’s not right.’
She assured her fans that she and her team were ‘doing everything we can.’
Grande’s comments come after tickets for her 36 shows in 2026, including the additional dates she added earlier this week, were snapped up almost immediately.
