Aussie WAG Chelsea Becirevic and Ivan Soldo Share Marriage and Family Plans at Derby Day

Chelsea Becirevic and Ivan Soldo have opened up about their wedding and family plans.

The AFL WAG and her Port Adelaide star boyfriend spoke exclusively to Daily Mail during Derby Day at Flemington Racecourse on Saturday.

The couple, who have been in a relationship since 2022, said that a walk down the aisle was on the cards, though likely not imminent.

‘We’re going to do it properly, of course, but I think the time will come,’ Ivan said.

It was a similar sentiment when the subject of starting a family was broached, with Chelsea admitting there was plenty the couple wanted to achieve before welcoming children.

‘Future, future, future,’ she said. ‘We’re both so young and there’s plenty we want to do.’

While she said that bubs may be far off on the horizon for now, Chelsea is hoping for a large brood.

‘At the moment our priorities are travel and spending as much time together as possible,’ she said.

‘But I do want a big family – definitely one day.’

The couple have been kept busy this year with launching their fashion label, I’m Taken, as well as setting up a new house in Melbourne’s South Yarra.

‘[It’s been] madness,’ Chelsea said. ‘We’ve just got a place here in Melbourne and at the moment we’re just unpacking and trying to settle in.’

Ivan added that he will be dividing his time between Adelaide and Melbourne during the AFL season.

‘It will be hard,’ he admitted. ‘But we’ll make sure we can visit as often as we can.’

Chelsea agreed, adding that she was keen to sink her teeth into renovating her new Melbourne digs.

Chelsea first rose to prominence when she briefly left Ivan because she found life in Adelaide to be a ‘struggle’.

Her remarks sparked a frenzy in the City of Churches as locals reacted to her suggesting their city was ‘too boring’.

She moved to Dubai and worked as an air hostess for several months before returning ‘home’, explaining she hated the long distance and missed her man.

Asked on Saturday if she was happier in her native Melbourne than she was in Adelaide, Chelsea agreed.

‘I think the main thing is being around my friends again – it’s so nice,’ she said.

‘It’s been good and we just love the new place.’

Meanwhile, Chelsea risked a serious wardrobe malfunction as she stepped out in a daring number alongside her boyfriend.

She almost spilled out of her frock as she put on a busty display inside the Birdcage.

Chelsea poured her figure into a lace, capri-cropped bodysuit which had long sleeves and a fitted black corset.

It also featured a plunging neckline that showed off her ample cleavage.

It comes after Chelsea opened up about the question that she can’t stand being asked about Ivan.

The influencer took to Instagram in May to do a Q&A with her 83,000 followers, revealing that she will be taking in some of Europe’s most famous locations on a big holiday later this year.

However, the former air hostess was not impressed when somebody replied: ‘Let me guess… Europe all on poor Ivan’s dollar?’

Chelsea fired back: ‘It’s wild how often I get messages like this, usually from fake accounts consistently implying I’m only with my partner for his money or that I don’t have anything of my own going on.

‘The assumption is not just false, it’s tired, small-minded and honestly gross. You see 1% of our lives on here, if that. You actually don’t know anything.

‘Why is it so hard to believe that a woman can be with a successful man and be successful herself or have her own money?

‘The football world can be incredibly toxic towards women. I don’t usually say anything but the constant judgement and dismissive narratives… I’m exhausted by it.’
