Australian Olympian Dominique du Toit is expecting her first child with her fiancé Bart.
The rugby champion, 28, revealed the exciting news to social media on Monday in a gallery of photos.
One photo showed the soon-to-be parents tenderly embracing at the Whistler Mountain ski resort in Canada, as Dom showed her ultrasound to the camera.
Another picture captured both of their hands carefully clasping the precious image, as Dom flashed her sparkling diamond engagement ring.
‘Every year I think life can’t get any better than it already is and every year it does,’ the star athlete captioned the carousel.
‘We can’t wait for June 2026.’

Many of Dom’s celebrity friends took to the comments section to offer their well wishes.
‘Congratulations,’ gushed fellow Olympian Shayna Jack.
‘Love this,’ New Zealand rugby sevens player Michaela Brake chimed in.
Dom is one of Australia’s most renowned Rugby League stars, winning silver and gold medals at both the 2018 and 2022 Commonwealth Games, and was also included in the Women’s 7s squads for the 2016, 2020 and 2024 Olympic Games.
In June, Dom and her mother Christy issued a heartbreaking plea to the Australian government for help to care for the rugby star’s grandmother, who has been diagnosed with dementia.
Du Toit was born in Zimbabwe, and at the age of four, she and her family emigrated to Australia.
Her grandmother, Dawn, later followed them to Australia, moving Down Under 13 years ago on a sponsored aged parent visa, following the passing of her husband.
But speaking during an emotional interview with Channel 9’s A Current Affair, the family revealed that Dawn has been diagnosed with dementia and now requires full-time care.

‘Granny’s dementia has deteriorated a fair bit,’ she said to Nine’s A Current Affair.
‘She ended up in hospital after having a fall, breaking her hip and both elbows. [She was] in hospital for quite a few months. That was when they were like: “She can’t stay at home she needs professional full-time care”.’
Dom added that she was grateful to Australia for the opportunities that the country had given her but hoped that could be the same for her grandmother.
