An Australian influencer has been left disfigured following a horrific accident that left her with smashed teeth.
Cartia Mallan, 27, who is based in the UK, took to Instagram earlier this week to share shocking pictures of her bruised and battered mouth, cut up and swollen.
In the close-up frames, the Brisbane-born beauty is seen missing a ‘big chunk’ of her two front teeth, with her million-dollar smile changed forever.
Mallan went on to inform her 480,000 followers that she was rushed to hospital and underwent a heart test and a scan for concussion following her mishap.
‘Waited in hospital 7 hours to get scans for concussion and heart checks, and then they finally stitched my lip up,’ she explained in the caption.
She added: ‘But yes, that’s a big chunk out of my two front teeth.’

She later shared a photo of her new teeth.
‘Waited six hours to get into an emergency dentist to put my teeth back in,’ she explained.
Mallan also teased that she would fill in her concerned followers with details about her accident when she was feeling better.
‘It’s been a hell of a day, girls. I’m so grateful to be alive, it could have gone so badly,’ she said.
It comes after Mallan made headlines earlier this year after falling out with her business partner and long-time friend, influencer Ashton Wood.
The pair had a million followers combined and were known for sharing intimate details of their lives on their podcast Common Chaos – as well as popular social platforms like TikTok.
‘Life is full of chaos, and longtime BFFs Cartia and Ashton certainly have that in common,’ runs the podcast blurb.
Indeed, their friendship was at the very heart of their business plan, with the time they spent together mined for ‘insights and stories’ into their ‘chaotic’ lives.

In June last year, they posted a video heading out to dinner, both in white dresses, to celebrate 10 years of being besties.
But last October their friendship was under a cloud. Amid frantic questions from fans, Cartia and Ashton mysteriously cancelled a real-life business venture they’d been working on together.
Just three months after its launch, with zero explanation, the TikTok stars’ brand Highline – which sold matcha, a trendy green tea – was no more.
For months, Cartia, and Ashton, 31, who both still live in London, chose to remain silent on the matter.
And after months of speculation, a source revealed to Daily Mail that Cartia and Ashton, who once described each other as family, had fallen out over a man.
The insider said: ‘Ashton rekindled a friendship with Cartia’s ex-boyfriend from back home in Australia, Josh Heuston, and it was the ultimate betrayal for Cartia.
‘When it all ended with Josh, Cartia was heartbroken, and Ashton was seriously there for her. She became Cartia’s lifeline and it really brought them closer. They had this crazy single-girl summer and really bonded.
‘So now for Ashton to be friends with him, Cartia just can’t get her head around it and couldn’t face continuing the matcha company with her. There were some other factors – but that was one of them.’
