Aussie social media star Karina Irby was forced to hit back at trolls after she divided the internet with her unusual ‘dog mum’ behaviour.
The influencer, 34, took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a video of the lavish purchase she made for her three beloved chihuahuas – Billie, Biscuit and Barnie.
She shared her excitement as she revealed she had purchased a pram for her dogs, explaining that her 11-year-old dog Billie now struggles with walking long distances.
She posted a video showing herself assembling the new pram and pushing her pups around the house in the stroller, but the post divided social media users.
Karina was forced to hit back at cruel trolls after they accused her of being a ‘red flag’ for the purchase and were left cringing over her using the term ‘first born’.
One wrote: ‘I don’t understand doing this when your dogs don’t have mobility issues.’
While another said: ‘Oh God. I’m sorry to say this. But ppl that do this is the biggest red flag.’
However, Karina took issue with the comment as she was quick to hit back with: ‘Pardon? What exactly is the red flag here?’

One follower disagreed with Karina – who has spoken openly about not wanting to have children – describing her eldest dog as her ‘firstborn’ in another comment.
They penned: ‘This was very cute until I read the word ”firstborn” then it gave me the ick. Having a baby and owning a dog is not the same. You can still love your fur baby and not relate it to childbirth.’
But the Moana Bikini business owner simply replied: ‘I always say Billie was my first born.
‘As she was quite literally the first born out of the fur babies. I’m sorry if this upsets you but it’s not my intention.’
Karina, who is married to Ryan Jones, also hit out at a cruel troll who said her beloved pets were not ‘real kids’ by replying: ‘Billie, Barnie and Biscuit are real kids to us.’
Despite the criticism, many of Karina’s fans were quick to flock around her and show their support as they gushed over the ‘cute’ video.
One wrote: ‘This is so cuteeeee,’ while another said: ‘I love your excitement this is the cutest thing ever.’

A third commented: ‘Omg so freakin cute I’m so excited to get one ekkkkkkkk,’ and a fourth shared: ‘They look adorable.’
In the video, Karina shared her excitement over buying the pram as she assembled it for her dogs, before lifting them into it and carting them around her living room.
‘I’m about to be that dog mum, I just bought a puppy pram,’ she said in the footage.
In a caption, Karina also described her three pets as her ‘absolute world’ and told how she decided to buy the pram to help her eldest dog Billie.
‘I bought a pram! I’m entering a new era of being a Pup Mum and I’m so excited for it,’ she shared.
‘This is something that’s been on my mind for a while, but I kept talking myself out of it. Why? Well, my firstborn is 11 now and I had a toxic mindset thinking that if I bought a pram, I was encouraging her older age.
‘Which kills me inside. But after some positive thinking and remembering why I wanted to buy a pram in the first place, I reminded myself that it was so I could give her an even better life experience!
Just one day after sharing the video, Karina then hit out at internet trolls making derogatory comments about her in an online thread
‘Now I can take her on my 2-hour walks, and she can see more of the world! I can take all of them!
‘For a family that isn’t having human babies, these fur babies are my absolute WORLD.’
Just one day after sharing the video, Karina then hit out at internet trolls making derogatory comments about her in an online thread.
Though she didn’t specify what she was referring to, she slammed the ‘s****y, judgemental’ comments in an impassioned post.
‘The internet sucks. People suck. I know I’ve let people down in the past, but I’m always trying my best, both for myself and other people,’ she wrote.
‘The constant criticism, attacking, and bullying I’ve endured here is actually heartbreaking.’
‘People need to practice being more open-minded. If someone acts a certain way or does something you don’t agree with, think about WHY they did it.
‘Be kind. You never know what someone’s been through or is going through,’ the bikini model concluded.
