Aussie footy fans have weighed in on ‘woke’ calls to cancel Snoop Dogg’s upcoming AFL Grand Final performance.
The star’s selection to perform at the game has divided fans, with some saying the league is abandoning its platform of respecting women by hiring Snoop.
The hip-hop icon also made controversial comments about same-sex relationships last week as Adelaide star Izak Rankine was suspended for four matches for directing a homophobic slur at an opponent.
Now, Aussies have taken to social media to give their two cents on whether the rapper should be removed from the coveted half-time entertainment.
‘People need to stop being so damned butt***t over someone else’s opinion! We all have one, just get on with it!’ one person wrote online.
‘Couldn’t care less if Snoop Dog appears or not, the AFL weren’t exactly trying to cater for ‘all’ their fans were they?’ another chimed in.

‘What a joke music’s changed same as people have get over it,’ another added.
‘Am I the only one excited for Snoop Dogg at the grand final?’ wrote someone else.
Meanwhile, others thought Snoop Dogg’s actions should see him banned from taking the stage.
‘AFL must explain Izak Rankine and Snoop Dogg double standard,’ one person wrote.
‘Snoop dogg out here being homophobic is pretty f***ing unhelpful with the AFL acting the way it is too,’ another added.
Kyle Sandilands recently weighed in on the ongoing controversy surrounding Snoop Dogg’s AFL performance.
Speaking about the drama on Tuesday, Sandilands said he failed to see what all the fuss was about.
‘All these AFLs are all a bunch of *****,’ he said on The Kyle & Jackie O Show.

‘”Oh he called me an F-word” or “he called me gay.” They want to fine everyone like they’re their own community.’
Referring to Snoop’s recent controversial comments, Sandilands added that the AFL should have known what they were getting when hiring the Gin and Juice star.
‘Now someone has said Snoop Dogg has used this gay slur,’ he said.
‘Yeah, Snoop’s written about pimping out women like w***es his whole life. Taking drugs, gangbangs… you knew who you were hiring.’
Sandilands then referred to AFL great Brendan Fevola’s recent claim that Snoop is set to be axed from the show in the wake of the controversy.
‘If they do give Snoop the flick, that’s the biggest loser thing that can happen,’ he said.
‘”Oh he said the F-word, we can’t have him then.” This is football, you gronks.’
