Australian fashion mogul Effie Kats has suffered a medical emergency while pregnant.
The 34-year-old shared a photo to Instagram from hospital on Sunday and said she’s decided to ‘rest and reset’ after a ‘reminder to slow down’.
‘The past few days of my pregnancy have been a reminder to slow down and prioritise health, mine and the baby’s,’ she wrote.
Effie reassured her fans she was taking a break but said ‘everything is ok’.
‘I’ve taken a little step back to rest and reset and thankfully, everything is okay.
‘Pregnancy looks different for everyone, and it’s not always straightforward. Consider this your reminder to listen to your body and put your wellbeing first, everything else can wait,’ she added.

Effie announced she was expecting her first child with her husband, James Cerolini, in August.
She shared a gallery of precious photos to social media, in which she confirmed she was pregnant.
One sweet picture captured Effie tenderly cradling her growing baby bump and another showed James gently touching his wife’s pregnant belly.
The couple also shared an ultrasound image, revealing their baby is due in January.
‘Have kept this little one a secret for awhile now. Feeling beyond excited for our next chapter,’ Effie wrote.
Many of Effie’s celebrity friends flooded the comment section with congratulatory messages.

Effie is a popular Melbourne designer who dresses many A-Listers, including Nadia Bartel, Carrie Bickmore, Kelly Rowland and Rebecca Judd.
In November 2023, she walked down the aisle with her finance broker fiancé James in Melbourne.
The pair married in a lavish ceremony at St Patrick’s Cathedral and held their opulent reception at State Library Victoria.
The society couple became engaged in 2021 during lockdown.
