When Selena Gomez said ‘I do’ to record producer Benny Blanco in a stunning Santa Barbara ceremony the couple were surrounded by a host of famous faces.
Among the 170 attendees was Taylor Swift, who one guest has described as ‘magical, genuine and so kind’ when she was lucky enough to meet her.
Radio host Tanya Rad has revealed what happened when she was introduced to the singer by another guest.
The presenter, 38, explained how a friend had introduced her to Taylor by revealing she had walked down the aisle to one of her songs.
Speaking on her iHeartRadio podcast, Scrubbing In, with Becca Tilley, she praised Taylor for being ‘invested and normal.’
The presenter, who married her husband Roby Yadegar in March, had her bridesmaid Sofia Carson sing a cover of Invisible String.

‘Actually, it was my first dance and I walked down the aisle to it,’ Tanya revealed.
‘She was so kind. She loved it. She asked me what song, and she was like, “That means so much.”
‘I cannot explain to you how magical, regal, genuine, present, locked in, invested and normal she was.’
Dressed in hand-draped satin, pop star Selena married Benny with her ‘bestie’ of many years, Taylor by her side.
On the Friday before the wedding, Taylor had joined other A-listers, including Selena’s Only Murders in the Building co-stars Martin Short and Steve Martin, for a rehearsal dinner at a mansion in the private community of Hope Ranch.
The main nuptials on the Saturday night were held at nearby Sea Crest Nursery, a 17-acre palm-filled paradise spilling onto the Santa Barbara cliffside.
And it was there, next to the beating Pacific, that Taylor delivered a tear-jerking speech in honor of her beloved ‘sister.’
As one insider told the Daily Mail, Swift’s speech was ‘so beautiful that some guests were crying.’ Unsurprisingly, Selena was among those who found herself reaching for a tissue.

During the sweet speech, it is understood that Taylor ‘talked about how she and Selena have both been through so much together both professionally and personally,’ and ‘said that whenever one of them had their hearts broken from failed relationship over the years, they were always there for each other.’
Taylor, who has famously catalogued her ‘long list of ex-lovers’ in her pop music, told the gathered guests that it was only ‘when Selena finally came to the realization that she was just fine with who she was and concentrated on being just her that she fell in love with Benny.’
She added that the couple were a ‘perfect pair’ – surely a well deserved title after Selena’s years of romantic turmoil with on-and-off ex Justin Bieber – and that ‘in all the years she has known Selena, she has never seen her so happy.’
A second source told the Daily Mail that Taylor talked about ‘always having Selena’s back and how they are sisters – and that while Selena may see Taylor as the big sister, Taylor sees Selena as teaching her so much.’
Taylor, of course, is gearing up for her own wedding, having recently announced her engagement to football player Travis Kelce.
As such, she ‘joked in the speech that Selena beat her to altar but at least they both have found the loves of their lives.’
Lavishing praise on Benny as ‘the most perfect person’ for Selena, Taylor added: ‘It isn’t luck that they found each other, it’s love.’
Ed Sheeran was also part of the speaker line-up, as were both Gomez and Blanco’s parents, the Daily Mail has learned.
