Jessica Chastain proudly shared a few snippets as she received an honorary doctorate from The Julliard School in a new Instagram video uploaded on Saturday.
The Help actress, 47 – who recently stunned while attending the Ralph Lauren fashion show in NYC – took part in the special ceremony earlier this week on Thursday.
The mother-of-two was just one of the stars that received the degree ‘in recognition of their outstanding contributions’ in the entertainment industry, according to a statement on the school’s official website.
At the start of the clip, Chastain filmed the outside of the school as well as a ticket that she was given.
Shortly before the graduation event commenced, Jessica was given a navy blue robe with a dark red trim as well as stripes on the sleeves.

Her long locks were parted to the side, and effortlessly flowed down past her shoulders in elegant waves.
The actress also shared a humorous moment when she tried on caps and was having trouble finding one that fit.
‘I have a huge head,’ the beauty could be heard explaining to an individual off camera. ‘It’s a shocking thing. People think I have a [small head], but I think it’s like long.’
After making a few adjustments to the red hat, she was able to fit the piece snuggly on top of her head.
The video then cut to Chastain joining other graduates and alumni as they posed for a photo together in front of a large window that allowed natural light to flow inside the building.
The camera followed the Oscar winner as she made her way towards the main ceremony, and seconds before entering a room, she sent her fans and followers an excited wave.
Jessica found her seat inside an auditorium and later, other graduates wearing black robes and caps could be seen gathered together for the big day.
The star was later filmed as she was led to the front of the stage, and was given a special sash that was draped around her neck. The crowd cheered and applauded Jessica during the moment.

One fan penned, ‘you are so inspiring and so talented!!’ while another added in all caps, ‘DR. JESSICA CHASTAIN.’
The award-winning actress notably attended The Juilliard School after being granted the Robin Williams scholarship and graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor in Fine Arts.

‘So, I received the Robin Williams scholarship. And it was a beautiful thing, because every two years, it would be given to a student.’
‘And it paid for all of my schooling, it paid for my housing, it paid for me to be able to go home for Christmas and see my family, books, food, it was so generous,’ she continued.
‘And every year, you know, I wrote a note to him to say thank you and I never got to meet him,’ the star added, referencing to Williams – who passed away in 2014 with his death ruled a suicide.
She then recalled seeing Robin in a restaurant in Los Angeles, but explained that she had been too shy to approach him.
‘I always regret it,’ Jessica admitted, ‘because I never had the opportunity to say thank you in person.’
Since graduating from Juilliard, Chastain has gone on to star in prominent films, such as The Help (2011) and Interstellar (2014).
She also starred in the 2012 film, Zero Dark Thirty, which earned her a Best Actress nomination at the Academy Awards. She later won the award in 2022 for her role in The Eyes Of Tammy Faye.
Jessica has also stepped onto the stage on multiple occasions, such as starring in an adaptation of A Doll’s House (2023) – and was nominated for a Tony award for Best Actress based on her performance.
