The Australian actress, 35, stars alongside fellow Aussie Jacob Elordi in Emerald Fennell's film adaptation.
Margot has been sporting a string of Georgian-inspired outfits to promote her role as the fierce heroine Catherine Earnshaw in the adaptation of Emily Bronte's novel, which is set for release on February 13.
But she opted for a more daring ensemble on Friday for the global content creator Q&A on the press tour on Friday.
Stepping out for the on-stage chat about Wuthering Heights at Claridge's in London, Margot opted for a sleeveless black leather mini-dress.
Margot's dress featured a boned corset and a tiered padded mini skirt design and she paired it with matching stilettos.

It comes after Margot braved the black carpet for the film's premiere in a daring sheer Dilara Findikoglu gown with a Victorian-esque corset and green detailing made out of plaited hair and Archival Boucheron Brooches.
The actress shared that she was also wearing a replica of one of Charlotte Bronte's bracelets, which was thought to be made out of her sisters Emily and Anne's hair, and acted as the inspiration for the gown.
Ahead of its release, Margot and Jacob have displayed their sizzling chemistry in a string of red carpet appearances.

In fact, it has led to some complaints from fans that the duo have taken inspiration from Sydney Sweeney's 'PR playbook,' after she put on a similarly cosy display with co-star Glen Powell in 2023 to promote their film Anyone But You.
Jacob himself recently raised eyebrows during a press interview when he declared the pair had a 'mutual obsession' while filming.
Speaking to Fandango, with Margot sitting nearby, he said he made sure he was never more than 10 metres away from the Barbie actress on set.
'If you have the opportunity to share a film set with Margot Robbie, you're going to make sure you're within five to ten metres at all times,' he said.
'Watching how she drinks tea, how she eats her food. When is it going to slip? And it never comes undone.'

Ever the gentleman, the actor assisted Margot with an umbrella to ensure she stayed dry in the pouring rain as they posed for photos together.
Margot is a longtime fan of Dilara Findikoglu's looks, having sported many of the London-based designer's outfits while promoting Barbie in the UK back in 2023.
She recently claimed to relish the movie's emotional 'swings' and said her character cries almost relentlessly in every scene she's in.
Asked if she prepares differently for romantic scenes, Margot told PEOPLE: 'No different to all the other scenes that we do. The movie kind of demands a lot of all of us.
'My character essentially cries in every single scene, but no, it was a joy. I loved playing a character who kind of swings from one wild emotion to the other in an instant.'

The new movie is written and directed by Emerald, and the 40-year-old filmmaker stressed that 'safety and trust and love' were uppermost in her mind when she helmed the sex scenes.

Having already impressed with a string of racy period looks, the actress wowed once again as she arrived in London's Leicester Square
Emerald - who directed Jacob in Saltburn - added: 'It's always just about making sure everyone feels super comfortable and we all are, really. We trust each other and so we try to kind of make it funny and laugh everything off.
'But love scenes are just the same as any other scene, really. And so we just approach it from an emotional point of view.'

Emerald also revealed that she relished the experience of working with Robbie on her latest theatrical release.
She said: 'Do you know what? She's an inspiration. She's an extraordinary woman.
'She's a mother, she's a producer, she's an unbelievably talented actress and she also always has time to be generous to the people around her. And so she's the best.'
