Unlikely as it may sound for a woman whose home is now a £2.1 million Los Angeles mansion, Margot was until 2016 a resident of Clapham, South London, living with six friends, including her future husband Tom Ackerley, in a ramshackle, four-bedroom flat ironically dubbed The Manor.
'Love Island reminds me of living in London — watching it with my girlfriends when everybody was home from work,' she said.
'Those were the best days of my life. For me, where you live and what you do have to be simplistic and comfortable, otherwise how are you possibly going to relax?'
Margot took her love for the ITV2 show to new heights in 2021 when she bagged Islander, and Maura's ex Chris Taylor, a role in her smash hit Barbie movie.
