Confirming that she and her partner Sam are expecting a baby boy, the expectant mum told Closer magazine: 'I was convinced I was having a girl.

'Then I thought, actually, sometimes in life it's bloody hard being a woman and wouldn't it be lovely to have a boy to introduce me to motherhood.

'I'd raise him well, and if I get lucky enough to have a girl next, he can look after her if anyone messes with her!'

Jess went on to say she would love more children with Sam, if 'we are able to'.
