The band, who are set to hit the stage once again for the Mighty Hoopla Festival on February 21, two decades after announcing their split, are reforming with four of their five founding members.

Belinda Chapple, Katie Underwood, Sally Polihronas and Tiffani Wood have all rejoined the band - without founding member Sophie Monk.

Earlier this week, they shared a picture collage to social media to confirm the exciting news, with photos taken from their album and single covers, as well as other promo shoots.

However, Sophie's face was not visible in any of the photos and had been strategically concealed in one instance by placing a flower over her face.

In another picture, a drink container was placed over Sophie's face to conceal her identity.

Sophie's music career began in 1999, when she competed on Channel Seven's reality TV show Popstars.

The five winners went on to form the band Bardot, which was active from 2000 to 2002, and had several hit singles, including their signature song Poison.

Four of the original members will take part in a 25th–anniversary show in Sydney's Bondi.

The noughties hitmakers were confirmed as part of the line-up for the inaugural Sydney Mighty Hoopla festival on Wednesday.

Headline acts for the LGBTQ+ friendly event include Kesha, Becky Hill and Australia's Delta Goodrem.

Organisers sent Bardot fans into overdrive when they teased that the These Days singers would be back on stage again in a social media post.

The short animated clip featured a pink flip-top phone and a text message that read: 'OMG Call me ASAP'.

The message was completed with a bottle-shaped image, a nod to Bardot's biggest smash hit, Poison, from 2000.

On Wednesday, organisers released a new clip in which Belinda, Sally, Katie and Tiffani were seen taking phone calls from the Mighty Hoopla Festival.

'I wonder what the other girls are doing these days,' Belinda says in the cheeky promo.

Katie adds: 'Don't you ever miss performing, it's been 25 years?'

The clip finishes with all four of the performers appearing on the screen together, telling fans they'll see them at the Mighty Hoopla Festival.

Bardot fans were quick to share their thoughts on the festival's Instagram.

'What's a Bardot reunion without all five?' wrote one fan, referring to Sophie Monk's absence on the official announcement.

'@sophiemonk you best be surprising us on the day!!! Don’t be a party pooper,' wrote another.

Back in 2021, Love Island Australia host Sophie Monk, 46, shot down reunion talk.

'I think we've all grown up very differently,' she said at the time.

'It's a bit like school, when you leave high school and you all kind of go your separate ways. So yeah, I don't know. I think we've just all kind of moved on.'
