Arnold Schwarzenegger’s infamous watch has found a new home.
The actor, 76, who was detained in Germany for not properly declaring the time piece, according to customs officials, was able to auction it off Thursday night at Special Dinner for Climate Action in Vienna for a tidy sum.
The Terminator star banged the gavel as his longtime friend Klemens Hallmann, 48, placed the winning bid on the Audemars Piguet watch, which Arnold referred to as ‘the most watched watch in the world right now.’
The rare wristwatch is one of 20 ever made.
Bidding began at 50,000 euros, but when the action was over, the winning bid tallied 270,000 euros or $$293,000 in American currency.

The FUBAR star looked dapper in a blue suit with a lavender button down shirt at the event.
The winner, who is an entrepreneur and founder of Hallmann Entertainment, proudly shook hands with his old pal while wearing a charcoal gray suit with a double breasted coat and a white shirt.
The Army of Thieves executive producer, who attended the event with his wife, model and actress Barbara Meier, 37, said it was important for him to protect the environment.
‘It is very important to me personally to motivate as many people and companies as possible to protect the climate and to actively promote decisive, joint action against climate change.’
‘In my company, we work hard every day to make the real estate industry more sustainable and, thanks to our green building strategy, we have been avoiding the use of fossil energy for many years.’
Those in attendance included US Climate Envoy John Kerry.
In his remarks at the dinner, the Kindergarten Cop star said ‘People often ask me how I can maintain a smile when considering our environment.’
‘It’s simple,’ he explained, ‘amidst the ongoing fight against pollution, I also witness the progress that has been achieved.’

The FUBAR star also auctioned off a personal training session. Other big items included a living room concert with the group Boss Hoss and a set visit to the popular Austrian TV show Der Bergdoktor

‘We have come a long way,’ he continued. ‘Today, so many people are here to be part of to the solution.’
The Last Action Hero star told the audience, ‘We all must give back and change the world. Today, our supporters have played a role in creating a cleaner and healthier future. I extend my gratitude to everyone who has joined my fight against pollution.’
In all, the gathering raised $1.3 billion euros.
Other in-demand auction items included a personal training session with Arnold, a living room concert by Boss Hoss and a set visit to popular Austrian television show Der Bergdoktor. All proceeds benefit the Schwarzenegger Climate Initiative.
