Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval settle legal battle over their $2 million LA home… nearly three years after public split

Ariana Madix and ex Tom Sandoval have finally settled a legal battle over their $2 million Los Angeles home following their very public split nearly three years earlier. 

The 40-year-old TV personality first filed the lawsuit in January 2024 against Sandoval – wanting to sell the residence that they formerly lived in before their breakup and his cheating scandal. 

She wanted to sell the property which they had initially purchased back in 2019 – and then divide the proceeds with her ex-boyfriend, 43.  

In documents obtained by The Daily Mail on Wednesday, the former couple reached a ‘conditional’ settlement – which was revealed in a notice filed by representatives of Madix in the Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday.  

The dismissal of the case will be determined on the ‘completion of specified terms’ – although further details were not disclosed. 

A final hearing is scheduled for next month on February 5 but Madix and Sandoval could go to trial if the specific terms of the agreement are not met. That trial would take place on February 17. 

Two years ago in January 2024, Madix first filed the lawsuit against her ex over the $2 million home they bought during their relationship in the San Fernando Valley.

In documents also obtained by The Daily Mail at the time, the former couple had differing viewpoints on what to do with the property. 

Madix wanted a ‘partition by sale’ which would mean a judge would order the pair to sell the home so they could split the profits. 

However, she did not want a ‘division in kind’ which would allow each of them to retain their ownership interest in the property and that could lead to one of them possibly selling to a third party. 

Just weeks later, her ex notably rejected the request due to Madix not offering ‘sufficient facts to state cause of action’ against him. 

He also wanted to keep the home for himself and claimed he offered his ex-girlfriend $3.1 million cash for the residence, which she turned down. 

Later that same year, Sandoval claimed that both he and Madix had agreed to sell the home they had once shared. 

The pair had briefly continued living together underneath the same roof despite ‘Scandoval,’ in which the Vanderpump Rules alum cheated on Madix with their castmate Rachel Leviss. 

‘The house is going on the market. [We are] selling the house, getting it ready,’ he alleged in October 2024 during an episode of his Everybody Loves Tom podcast. 

Madix also explained to People at the time the lawsuit drama began, ‘I own the house. 

‘I felt like it was the last thing, and I’m just really motivated to be able to get my investment that I made into the house out so that I can make another investment and be able to fully move on from being tied to that.’ 

Madix and Sandoval’s nine-year relationship came to an explosive end after the revelation of his affair. 

The aftermath played out on episodes of the Bravo reality series Vanderpump Rules – which has since gotten an entirely new cast. 

Madix has moved into a new home of her own after she purchased a $1.6 million Hollywood Hills property. 

She has also moved on with her love life and sparked up a romance with Daniel Wai shortly after her breakup from Sandoval. 

‘He is so incredible. He’s so smart. He’s so supportive. He’s so cute. He’s just constantly in my corner,’ the TV personality previously gushed to People. 

‘And he’s someone that I look up to and I feel like would be, if someone were to have told me five years ago before I ever met him I’m dating this guy, I’d be like, “Wow.”‘ 

Sandoval has been dating model Victoria Lee Robinson since 2024 and he has also given updates about their own romance. 

Last year during an interview with The Daily Dish at BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas, he opened up about their current ‘chapter.’ 

He also commented on how his girlfriend’s mother is a big fan of reality television.

‘Well, this chapter, it’s been so great. I’ll tell you what. Like, being with somebody who’s not fully engrossed in reality TV – her mom is, but she’s not – again, it’s so great.’

The media personality added, ‘Like, somebody who can take you at face value, you know, that’s been so great.’ 

Sandoval also expressed that they may move in together during the star-studded event and said, ‘I think we found a place together. She’s at her own place. I think we found a place.’

In regards to when they may take the major step in their relationship, he told The Daily Mail, ‘I think that’s happening soon.’

Sandoval further added, ‘We really enjoyed just having our time together and growing in our relationship.’ 

Madix has also been keeping busy and recently took on a number of hosting gigs such as on Love Island USA and The Voice.
