Ariana Grande has teased that her upcoming live shows will be her last for some time.
The announcement has left fans in Australia heartbroken, since the 32-year-old’s Eternal Sunshine Tour 2026 will only feature gigs in North America and the UK.
Ariana’s fans Down Under angrily expressed their disappointment online after the Wicked star discussed her plans on Amy Poehler’s Good Hang podcast this week.
‘Girl I love you, but why not do a proper tour that all of the fans can attend and not only the ones from UK & US,’ one fan posted after the interview was shared to X.
‘This is such a slap in the face to her fans from all over the world that aren’t in the US, wrote another.
A third fan recalled that Ariana has not played any shows Down Under since 2017.

‘She’s not been to Australia for getting on for a decade,’ they complained.
‘I guess that means she’s never coming back.’
‘I’m very excited to do this small tour,’ Ariana told Amy during the interview.
‘But I think it might not happen again for a long, long, long, long time.
‘I’m going to give it my all, and it’s going to be beautiful, and I’m so grateful. I think that’s why I’m doing it. Because I’m like, one last hurrah. For now.’
Ariana, who released her chart-topping album Eternal Sunshine in March 2024, is set to embark on her first major tour in seven years in mid-2026, performing across the US and Canada before bringing the show to the O2 Arena in London for 10 nights.
It comes after an Australian man charged Ariana Grande at the Wicked: For Good premiere in Singapore last week.
Johnson Wen, who goes by ‘Pyjama Man’ online, shared a clip to his Instagram Stories shortly after news broke of the shocking incident.

The 25-year-old appeared to be standing in the middle of a shopping centre wearing a white shirt with the word ‘Jesus’ on the front as he gloated about being ‘free’.
‘I’m free after being arrested,’ he captioned the video, which saw him slowly approach the camera while gesturing with his arms.
Wen made headlines when he charged Ariana at her new film premiere for the sequel of Wicked earlier this month.
The actress was walking beside her co-star Cynthia Erivo, who bravely jumped in front of her when she saw the man running towards them.
The video, which was shared widely online, showed Wen lunging at Grande and putting his arm around her as she struggled to get away.
Moments later, a group of security guards at the event pulled him away, leaving a visibly shaken Grande being comforted by her friend Erivo.
Wen shared clips from the moment on his Instagram Story, writing: ‘Dear Ariana Grande Thank You for letting me Jump on the Yellow Carpet with You.’
Videos taken before he jumped over a barricade to see Grande show him saying it was his ‘dream’ to meet the actress.
