Ariana Grande has finally announced new album, Eternal Sunshine – her first LP in four years.
The singer, 30, who took aim at critics of her new romance with Ethan Slater in new track, Yes, And? last week, delighted fans as she confirmed her seventh studio album will drop on March 8 2024.
This is her first new album since 2020 album Positions which boasted the chart-topping title track.
The album’s new title draws inspiration from 2004 film Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind starring Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet which follows two individuals who undergo a procedure to erase each other from their memories following the dissolution of their relationship.
The star sported red lipstick and wore sheer scarlet gloves as she posed – playfully covering her eyes in one snap.
The star recently fired back at the criticism she’s faced over her love life in the past year with her new single Yes, And?.

The pop singer dropped the upbeat ditty, her first since 2021, with an electrifying music video to accompany it on Friday.
The lyrics appear to take aim at the hate she received over her romance with boyfriend Ethan Slater, whom she began dating soon after her split from Dalton Gomez.
Repeatedly asking, ‘Yes, and?’ she urges listeners to reflect on why they feel compelled to comment on her life.
‘Your business is yours, and mine is mine,’ the pop princess also croons, before adding, ‘Why do you care so much whose d*** I ride?’
In another line she sings, ‘Now i’m so done with caring what you think, no I won’t hide underneath your own projections or change my most authentic life.’
The subtle clap back comes after Ariana found herself under public scrutiny in July when rumors circulated about her dating her Wicked costar Ethan, just days after news of her breakup with Dalton emerged.
To add to the eyebrow-raising, Ethan had recently ended his marriage with Lilly Jay, his high school sweetheart.
They had welcomed their first baby together in August 2022, and he filed for divorce from her in July 2023.

Many fans were taken aback by the lyrics, particularly given the backdrop of earlier ‘homewrecker’ allegations.
‘Being a ‘homewrecker’ isn’t the flex you think it is,’ one tweet read, as another wrote: ‘i love ari but she has glorified being the other woman so much, it hurts to see it’
Yes another chimed in, ‘Doing all this for Ethan Slater is embarassing.’
Still others supported their idol for appearing to defend herself against the gossip.
‘She doesn’t give a phuck about those home wrecker allegations lmao love it for her’, said one follower.

In the 80s’-inspired ditty, Ariana also appears to clap back at fan ‘concerns’ about her changing appearance, which she also addressed in an April TikTok.
‘My face is sitting I don’t need no disguise,’ she sings in Yes, And?. ‘Don’t comment on my body, do not reply.’
The fiery number also comes after it was reported that Ariana and Ethan had taken their relationship to the next level in November, with the Dangerous Woman singer now living with her Wicked co-star in New York City, as he performs in Spamalot.
The pair met in December 2022 on the UK set of the film adaptation of the smash-hit Broadway musical Wicked, in which Ariana plays Glinda – the good witch – alongside Ethan as munchkin Boq.

Both couples announced they had split within a few days of each other back in July, with Ariana announcing her separation from Dalton just three days before confirming her new relationship with Ethan, who then filed for divorce from Lilly.
He cited irreconcilable differences and asked for joint custody of their newborn son.
Lilly has since damned Ariana in a series of disparaging interviews, telling Page Six the songstress is ‘Not a girl’s girl’ and adding blisteringly that ‘My family is just collateral damage’ to her.
Speaking exclusively to DailyMail.com, the estranged spouse of the Broadway star said she is determined to move on with her life as a single mother, without her ex-husband.
‘I am focused on rebuilding a life for our son,’ she said. ‘This is what I am trying to do and this is my only focus.’

Lilly’s admission came as a source close to Ariana and Ethan claimed that the singer ‘hung out’ with Lilly and her newborn baby multiple times before her romance with her co-star was revealed – and even told those around her how much she ‘wanted a baby one day’ after bonding with Lilly and Ethan’s.
An insider close to Lilly and Ethan alleged to DailyMail.com that Ariana and Ethan’s relationship has taken a brutal toll on the new mother – who spent time with the singer on multiple occasions while visiting her husband on-set in London.
‘Lilly hung out with Ethan and Ariana so many times,’ the insider claimed. ‘Ariana met their baby and even held him.
‘They had dinners together in London – and Ariana told Lilly that she wanted to have a baby one day and that she couldn’t wait to start a family.’
According to the source, Lilly and her son traveled to London to visit Ethan on the set of Wicked this April – just eight months after the baby’s birth.
The insider claimed that Lilly discovered her husband had been having an affair with Ariana after that visit – but that she and Ethan made the decision to try and ‘put it behind them and work on their marriage,’ only for her to later discover that he had continued his romance with the singer.

Yes, And? serves as the lead track for Ariana’s anticipated seventh studio album, which she started hinting at in late December.
The pop icon dropped her last studio album, positions, in 2020.
However, she’s lent her vocals to other songs since 2021, including The Weeknd’s Save Your Tears and Die For You.
Meanwhile, Ariana and Ethan’s Wicked is expected to hit theaters in November 2024.
