Apprentice Star Victoria Goulbourne Shows Off Painful Salmon Sperm Facial Results

Apprentice star Victoria Goulbourne showed the painful-looking results of having salmon sperm injected into her face on Monday.

The influencer shared each step of undergoing the cosmetic procedure, which starts from around £250 at B City Clinics in Liverpool.

As well as Botox-like effects, salmon sperm injections – also known as polynucleotides – are said to give customers a ‘baby face’ and rejuvenated skin.

Immediately after the injections, Victoria’s face was covered in small lumps and specs of dried blood.

She asked her Instagram followers: ‘Did I take it too far?’

In the clip she shared: ‘I didn’t even feel the treatment, and my doctor was quite impressed by that.’

Three days later, she showed off her glowing skin and said the best results come after four weeks. She added: ‘This is not a quick fix, it is a longer-term journey, but the rewards are the best.’

Victoria added in the caption: ‘Thoughts + opinions are my own, please ask the clinic for the specifics about the treatment’

Advocates say polynucleotides offer a ‘natural’ alternative to other traditional ‘tweakments’ such as Botox and filler.

Some doctors claim it is safer than other cosmetic injectables, which have been linked to a catalogue of complications including blocked blood vessels, lumpy skin and infections.

It typically uses purified and sterilised DNA molecules extracted from salmon or trout sperm, known as polynucleotides which have anti-inflammatory effects.

Victoria appeared on Lord Sugar’s renowned BBC series earlier this year, narrowly missing out on a space in the final of the show.

The series was won by Marnie Swindells. She bagged a £250,000 investment in March with the plan of transforming a derelict building in Camberwell in South East London into a boxing gym.

Victoria was launched into the limelight with her online sweet shop called The Sweet Life UK which aims to provide bespoke pick and mix sweets presented aesthetically.

Following her appearance, Victoria opened up about what being on The Apprentice is really like as she revealed how the editing is ‘manipulated’ by producers.

During an episode of podcast Lessons We’re Learning, she confessed: ‘[The producers] will tell you ‘so and so said this, what do you think about that?’ and in actual fact, it’s like I don’t even think they said that.’

‘They back you into this corner where you’re constantly fighting for your own position and I think that’s when it comes across that we’re all like ‘I’m the best person here!’, we’re kind of backed into saying that,’ she added.

The former contestant also revealed that they don’t get to see the final edit before it is broadcast on the BBC as the show is prerecorded.

Victoria even found herself ‘screaming at the TV’ when she watched moments where she claimed it made her look like she was saying something different to what happened in reality.

When asked if editing is ‘manipulated’ by entrepreneur Emilio, Victoria said it is ‘massively’ influenced as the producers are trying to tell a story with the show.

She admitted that she was surprised to see her ‘moody’ facial expressions throughout the show, claiming this wasn’t the case in reality.

The sweet shop owner explained: ‘The thing that got to me the most is like my facial expressions throughout that whole series.

‘They’ve literally got me looking like so moody all the time. They’ve got me as if I’m snarling people when they’re speaking and I’m like ‘I wasn’t like that!’
