Apple Martin Unveils Ambitious Plans Post-Graduation

Apple Martin was determined to forge her own path being a student and having a normal life, but it looks like she is following her famous mother's footsteps after all.

Gwyneth Paltrow's 21-year-old nepo baby, whose dad is Coldplay singer Chris Martin, will graduate from Vanderbilt University in May with a degree in law, history and society.

Now she is ready to give acting a try, as she told Vogue in an episode of Beauty Secrets.

'I love dancing and I love acting. My dream is to act,' she said.

Martin - who also came clean on the cosmetic enhancements she's had done - is getting behind-the-scenes experience in the meantime, directing a play in school.

She said she loves it 'more than anything.'

She also told Interview magazine in April, 'I would love to do theater because I adore it so much. I’ve obviously never done film before, but I’ve been trying to get involved in student films. I was born a theater kid.'

Martin, who has already established a remarkable modeling career, also posed in a number of fabulous outfits for the fashion magazine, which has Spanish singer Rosalia on the cover.

She exuded confidence in a satiny white Balenciaga dress and red shoes.

In another shot, Martin wore a black Michael Kors Collection vest with red Hermes slacks and Tibi shoes. The college student looked both cute and casual in a Jil Sanders sweater and pants set.

Martin was the image of her Oscar-winning mother in a black and white Alaia dress and skirt.

She showed off her limber moves while posing in a Hermes top and Khaite shorts along with Maison Margiela shoes.

Martin, who became brand ambassador for Self-Portrait starting in September 2025, looks to Paltrow for fashion inspiration.

'My mom's wardrobe from her 20s is just about my favorite thing in the entire world,' she said. 'It makes me emotional thinking about the things in that closet.'

The star was also seen in a video for Vogue on Friday. She participated in the magazine's Beauty Secrets, sharing her makeup routine and opening up about her acne struggles

This comes after Paltrow said she left Los Angeles because she 'couldn't face' staying in the family home after her kids moved out.

The Iron Man star, who also has son Moses with ex Martin, admitted she needed to move house when the kids left home.

She told The Hollywood Reporter: 'The city [Los Angeles] took a big hit during COVID, and the threads never quite came back together.

'And then I couldn't face staying in that house without kids. That house without sleepovers and pancakes, I just couldn't do it.'

Gwyneth and Brad now split their time between homes in Montecito, California and Amagansett, New York.

Martin, who attended the New York premiere of Marty Supreme with Paltrow in December, looks to her mom for fashion inspiration

The actress - who was born in California but raised in New York City - revealed she never actually planned to live in Los Angeles but she agreed to it following her split from Chris Martin in 2014.

She explained: 'We're in Montecito and Amagansett, like total country mice. But Los Angeles is a big part of who I am.

'I was born here, and it really runs through me, but [until about a decade or so ago,] I hadn't lived in L.A. since I was a kid, except when I used to stay with [ex-boyfriend] Brad Pitt in Hollywood ...

'It was magical. Anyway, I really hadn't lived here since I was in the sixth grade. I was always in New York, and then I was in London for a long time, and when Chris and I separated, he very kindly said: 'Hey, if you want to go home, I'm game.'

'And we landed in L.A. because it's where he was open to being - he's not a New York City guy. So I built this beautiful life here with my kids, and it was a very magical time in Los Angeles. It was really going through a renaissance.'

Gwyneth has made a return to acting after a lengthy break to star in sports drama Marty Supreme.
