The American DJ, whose real name is Matteo Milleri, was forced to apologise to fans after organisers pulled his performance, releasing a statement on their official Instagram account on Friday.
The statement read: 'Due to strong winds affecting Anyma’s stage build, he is unable to perform tonight.'
It continued: 'Coachella and Anyma have made this decision together your safety as the priority.'
Apologising to fans in the comments, Anyma wrote: 'I’m sorry everyone. We’ve done everything in our control to build the show I’ve worked an entire year on. Safety always comes first and we’re working on a solution now.'
There was no indication of whether his set will be rescheduled, although he is also due to perform on Saturday night.

Anyma had been scheduled to take to the main stage at midnight, around 90 minutes after Sabrina Carpenter's headline slot on Friday.
His performances are described as an immersive 360-degree digital art and music experience, inviting audiences to interact with both visuals and sound.
He has collaborated with some of the world's biggest artists, including Blackpink's Lisa, Lana Del Rey and Ellie Goulding.
Anyma also forms one half of electronic music duo Tale Of Us and boasts 3.5 million Instagram followers.
The 2026 Valley Music and Arts Festival will light up the desert in Indio, , over two weekends.
Sabrina Carpenter, , and are headlining the highly anticipated event.
They'll be joined by an eclectic roster that spans genres and generations, including Young Thug, Turnstile, David Byrne, , and Ethel Cain.
Legacy artists , Moby, and Devo also earned spots on the packed schedule, while Radiohead appeared under a mysterious note teasing The Bunker Debut of Kid A Mnesia.
