‘It was a little disturbing to learn a large amount of the post-apocalyptic jargon in Furiosa is actually just regular Australian slang,’ one fan quipped.
‘The full script is actually just a recording from an afternoon at the pub,’ a second person joked.
‘Max’s son, Sprog, is named after Australian slang for child,’ a third person chipped in and a fourth added: ‘Fang it made me weirdly nostalgic, nobody uses that anymore.’
It comes after Anya revealed new details about her secretive relationship with her husband Malcolm McRae earlier this week.
Speaking with movie-rating social media site Letterboxd, Anya explained she had a surprising connection to one of her favourite films Forrest Gump.
According to the Miami-born actress, her 30-year-old musician husband proposed to her at the location of the bench that Forrest Gump (Tom Hanks) sits on while recounting his picaresque tale.
