Their mission comes with a strange enigma, as neither of them has been told what exactly is in the crevasse they are manning.
All they know is that ‘the gorge is the door to hell’ and that their assignment is to ‘stop what’s in the gorge from coming out,’ via the trailer.
They have been set on their assignment by a character played by none other than Sigourney Weaver, star of the horror classics Alien and Aliens.
