Anthony LaPaglia’s Wife Alexandra Files for Divorce After 7 Years

Without a Trace alum Anthony LaPaglia’s third wife Alexandra Henkel reportedly filed for divorce on Tuesday from him after seven years of marriage.

At 66, the Emmy winner is 30 years older than the Jean Dousset client advisor, but she listed the celebrity-favorite excuse ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason for the split.

Alexandra put September 11 as the date of their separation and she is seeking spousal support from Anthony, but does not want him to have the same – according to TMZ.

Henkel – who graduated from the University of Melbourne – asked the judge to divide the proceeds from their recent LA home sale, but requested to keep her engagement ring, a Rolex watch and other jewelry.

Curiously, LaPaglia posted on Instagram July 17 that he was ‘culling my personal watch collection… a small selection of 250 have gotta go!’

The Australian couple had no children, but the Frasier alum is father to 22-year-old daughter Bridget with his second ex-wife Gia Carides.

Anthony and the 61-year-old Austin actress announced the end of their 17-year marriage in March 2015 – just one month after he reportedly canoodled with Alexandra in Adelaide.

But not much is known about LaPaglia’s first marriage to Dream On alum Cherie Michan.

The Daily Mail has reached out to the Tony-winning thespian’s rep for comment.

Anthony will next portray Fabry in Alex Proyas’ sci-fi musical R.U.R. (Rossum’s Universal Robots), which is based on Karel ÄŒapek’s 1920 play.

LaPaglia will also play Coach Dewey D’Angelo in David Barrett’s upcoming baseball film, The Change-Up Kid.

Last year, the Golden Globe winner portrayed boss and drug dealer Tytus Broz in Netflix Brisbane-set limited series, Boy Swallows Universe.

Anthony then reprised his role as Willy Loman in Arthur Miller’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play Death of a Salesman at Theatre Royal Sydney between May-June 2024.

LaPaglia also voiced Chicago gangster Alphonse Capone in Max Allan Collins’ 10-episode podcast drama, True Noir: The Assassination of Anton Cermak last year.

The three-time SAG Award nominee is perhaps best known for his breakout role as FBI Special Agent John ‘Jack’ Michael Malone in Hank Steinberg’s police procedural Without a Trace, which aired for seven seasons on CBS spanning 2002-2009.
